I was watching the live footage every day and saw this catch live. I pulled for you the whole tournament. I understand you have to quit sometime but I sure am sad to see you go. I have followed your career closely since the late 90’s and enjoyed it immensely and learned a lot along the way. I’ve been spending a lot of my time lately redoing my old 2005 Nitro that I bought new back then and I’ve been playing the old 90’s and 2000 to 2010 tournaments while I’m working on it. Those were the best tournaments before technology took over. Just man against fish. Ever since I started fishing tournaments in about 2001 it was always my dream to see you and others fish West Virginia and I’m so thankful to finally see you do it right before you retired. It was particularly tough when you were here and not a good representation of our fishing. I hope you come back some day and give it another shot. Thanks again and congrats on an amazing career and this topper fish.

I like watching weigh ins. But its just so much better on the fish to be able to release them that fast. And u get to let them go in the same area they were. So even spawning fish may even go back to there spots. At weigh ins people release all the basd in one spot milez from where they were caught
