Literally anyone can choose a pet. It takes a special kind of person to be able to be chosen BY a pet!! 11 months ago a little 6 month old feral kitten took the huge step of trusting my son and I. He chose us despite having no reason to trust humans. I have video of the first time he rolled over on the deck for a belly rub. He then started jumping onto our laps when we were outside. May 19, 2022 he had his first fight with an older Tomcat and lost. We picked him up, brought him inside, cleaned his wounds, gave him a bath and he's been an indoor cat ever since with no problems. He is absolutely the sweetest little boy and his name is now Marbles.

When I brought home a second dog, my dad was like, "Whose dog is that?" I told him it was mine, we got another dog. This he asked while he took the puppy from me and cuddled him. My eldest sister was the one who didn't want another dog but 3 years later, don't you dare threaten to take Orion away from her.

that last clip reminded me of me, my mom got a Rottweiler when i was born and we grew up together and he would always lay around me and he was the best dog I've ever had in my life. He lasted 15 years he was a great dog.

5:47 This is just like my neighbor's dog. Very sweet, big girl who would wander over onto our property just sniffing around and run back home whenever we came out to see her. One day she came over while my nieces were visiting and she came right up to them. Now she greets us no problem. Good dogs, no matter how skittish, just understand that kids need to be protected and loved.

Dogs are such a joy to live with,..your living with almost another human,..personality,..their own proclivities,..the dog that wanted to play fight with his human roomate😉,..look how he kept wanting to play fight,..like a kid, when you lift them up, let them sit on your shoulders for instance,.."again, again, lift me up again!",..he so chose to fight, cause he was having so much fun with it,..so much fun,..and the dog at the end with the little girl,..she was her person, right off,..like the man and the dog he didn't want,..huh,..they just clicked,..and he had those sad eyes,..like, really?, you don't wanna be my friend?,.can't we be friends?,..(a little Tod Rundgren 😉),..but the little girl and her soul mate,..I don't know if she had a sister, or if they added a sister to the family later on,..but the dog is surely the sister she always wanted,..play together, sleep in the same room, together,.eat and have fun adventures together,..so many of us grew up like this, with dogs 🐕, I did,..my whole childhood,..they know when your sad, sick, scared,..they have such insight into us, from childhood, to adulthood,..I pray this little girl will always have dogs in her life, till she's 100,(and that she lives a full a life as that), and that this little dog lives long into her childhood along with her,..and that the dog with the reluctant man lives well into his golden elder life right along side him,..Godspeed, long healthy, happy life to all the furry darlins, and their families,..they enrich our lives,..I pray we do that for them,..
