like seriously do characters like Charity or Moira actually gain anything from being killers? not really since their not exactly presented to us as dangerous criminals who threaten to murder people every other week Cain's actually one of the few characters who would benefit from being allowed to intentionally kill someone so his threats can be taken seriously.

Cain isn't killer, it has made clear many times. And when it comes to Belle, Kyle and Charity, those all were accidents, their intent wasn't to kill. And in Moira's case, Emma mocked her and Holly to get Moira to snap and kill her.

Hollyoaks was the first soap to do a flashforward mystery storyline and it did it well over a decade ago EE is actually very slow to evolve tbh they didn't even have things like a male rape storyline before only 2 years back.

After watching this and the Eastenders episodes, Emmerdale win purely from a simplistic and logical stand point. Eastenders I personally thought the ending was overdone however with this, I think Emmerdale have gone with a logical, maybe predictable, but logical option and that most of the time is what works the best. Think it’s a bit odd why Emmerdale & Corrie only had half an hour episodes on Christmas Day but the 2 are so good at making the most of things I don’t think it mattered.
