Everyone got hyped because we parked the bus against City and Liverpool, if we don't park the bus we get slapped up we even have to do it with Fulham and West Ham. West Ham have beaten us twice this season TWICE, they knocked us out of the Carabao last season as well ffs. Why are we so poor when we attack? We are still two players short, we need a backup midfielder/replacement No.8 for Havertz and a top striker.
In an ideal world we need a backup CB and a proper LB as well. I told everybody that Havertz isn't cut out for the EPL, what did we do we went and fucking and bought him. I am not an Arsenal fan, but i follow ALL football and i am 100% with you on your distain for Arteta, i a keen watcher of people and if you watch a run of Arteta over a period of say 10 games and you will notice Arteta is very animated on the line when Arsenal are winning, making it look like he is the conductor of the WIN, yet watch how quiet he is when Arsenal are losing, this shows he has not got a clue what to do when things are not going as he first planned - also Rice the £100m purchase, he is the reason Arsenal are not playing in the same gun ho style you did last year, the guy slows everything down, he plays way to deep and can be found many times literally taking the ball from the centre backs feet - but Arsenal fans will never admit he could be the reason for the drop in forward pressure

Correct observation, players are not machines, we have been playing one team for quite a while and most of our subs come in with not more than 15 mins to go. If one looks at Pep's team one realises that no player apart from Rodri, Kevin De Bryune and Halland when fit play most of the time but the rest take turns and this is probably one of the key reasons why Mancity squad go the full distance looking less fatigued for the whole season despite playing in more than two competitions until the end, our Manager as much as we appreciate he is still a rookie, this being his first managerial job must hit the road running in grasping some important tricks of the business, coaching alone and expecting results isn't enough.

Last season wasn’t the renaissance, last season was the exception, we completely over achieved. Most of the performances this season have been bang average but we were getting results but this December it all caught up with us. Let’s be honest, we could have easily lost 6 of the last 8 on performances not just 3, no confidence and no endeavour. It might just take 1 result but as we don’t play a league game for 3 weeks its might take a while!
Exactly, I keep telling everyone this, that Arsenal are NOT up there with Man City and Liverpool just because of last season.
All that happened was that Arsenal were playing so bad under Arteta that Arsenal fell off everyone's radar as a serious team anymore and showed them no respect on the pitch. It just so happens that last year Mikel got them to finally click and gel as a team and because the other teams were coming at Arsenal, it played into their hands leaving loads of pockets of spaces on the pitch and not being ready for their Arsenal football that had deserted them for so long. Couple that with the bad start from all the rivals and all of a sudden you have the Leicester title winning season all over again - except Arsenal were too stupid and too arrogant to recognise what it was an properly capitalise on it in January.
Fast forward new season and every team now respects Arsenal again and know exactly how to set up against them to nullify their attacks.
What is happening is what was always going to happen.

Today showed the difference between good players and world class, elite players. Nobody in that team has any cutting edge in attack or on the ball to make an incisive pass in between the lines or make a clinical finish in front of goal. The difference between a good team that finishes in the top four and a top team that wins titles. Arteta has been given plenty of money and time(too much imo) to build this team. He failed to sign a number 9, left us vulnerable in midfield, and has held the team back with silly tactics. Time to go!

There is definitely a tactical switch of keeping possession instead of taking on defenders and it's hindered our attacking prowess. Arteta is still confused on how to set the team up after so many years...he's reached his limit of taking us to a nearly team.

He is well over the top, however he has opened the curtains of the reality that arsenal aren’t a world beating team and arteta seems to have big holes in his philosophical application to the way he manages arsenal.
Big issues in attack and defense and with set pieces. His goalkeeper ideas are a real head shaker.
Arteta broke his toys early. The real elephant in the room is Accommodating Declan Rice ( as great as he has been individually) has unsettled the team offensively. Rice collecting the ball & conducting play where Partey would usually collected the ball (with Xhaka & Odegaard as immediate pass options) is a huge drop offensively. Arteta also can't base our whole title challenge solely on whether Saka gets enough space to G/A.
Number 41 isn't even great individually, let be real, bro. Everything can be done in 1 or 2 touches, number 41 does in 4 or 5. He turns like a semi-truck and has no feet. If you don't play him in his natural, real position at CENTRE BACK, he WILL flop. It's inevitable. He is NOT a midfielder. He doesn't have the passing range, the agility nor the feet to play in midfield. It's no wonder West Ham's flown up the table now that they've stopped playing around such a middy player
