Is there any reason why pros never use D-web? is it too much of an investment to be effective?I think I've occasionally seen Dark Archon feedback used to deal with Sci Vessels in some games too.

It's absurd to use d web. The time and money and all you have to do is just walk out of the web.
Corsairs are flying paperweights after they used the D-web, having extra arbiters is much more effective

If Terran does its thing and don't make mistakes, it won't matter how good the Protoss player is. You can be god of Protoss and you will still loose.
