I first discovered Ohara San's R8 years ago when I first moved to Japan. Actually, I met the builder, Akira Matsuura of Garage Ill, years ago before the insane creation you see before you existed. He teamed up with his long time friend, Ohara Hiromasa, and the R8 project began. Ohara-San wanted something that accurately reflected his drive and personality - Always seeking the next challenge all the while standing out among the crowd.
So this time on Tokyo Tuner, join me as I dive into the mind of Ohara San and discover why it's his desire to be the best, and why he decided to create the World's crazy R8

At the beginning he never thought that the R8 have a good look.. but have a lot of potential to customisation (VISION) .. personally I don't Like R8's .. but I'm feeling in Love with this one, only because of the customisation.. best part?

This car is amazing. I love these huge wings which looks like a framework created by an artist. Are there more wings like these in Japan? great video btw. never thought I would find a channel with this amount of subs and this exemplary quality. (sorry if I made mistakes, I´m german)

Very well executed and pure craftmanship, whether liked or disliked, hats off though a darker color and darker wheelset would add a more aggressive touch to it.

I watched Men Club Hong Kong and also love their videos on sports cars like the AE86 and Evo 3 which they featured recently
Hong Kong is also a place for Initial D fans and car nut gather.
One of my bucket list is def visit Hong Kong and Japan to see all the cars

I like the owner's perspective. A different car for a different occasion. One car for professional life, personal life and fun or whatever the situation is like offroading or towing. An all rounder isnt good enough.

Just A Name lol interesting. Yah, that's the reason why. I tried my right arm a while ago and it was a nightmare. It's also a good way to surprise people that you noticed they are left handed by simply noticing the watch. At least in Japan at any rate lol
