@@CherrysGuy32 yeah i somewhat agree, if your at 100+ ping the punches are like a second delayed, but timing is definitely still required for dodging no matter the ping

The painful part where your opponent calls you "how predictable" for that
Here's how you counter slugger with counter style. First when they are charging up their M2 you have to quick jab them with ur M1 and the only times you should use M2 on counter is if u hit a counter or their blocking, sluggers always try to hit u with the charged M2 and dash away and slowly chip away at ur hp, this is why counter style is so gud, it can destory any slugger user.
They have a terrible dash and bad block so using styles that do good counter dmg is a nightmare for them since they rely on the opponent to mistime most of their m1s but if you can catch up with dmg it'll be hard. Just dash sparingly against them since it's near impossible to dodge a slugger m2

Counter is my preferred style. It’s fun to use and occasionally use it in ranked. I love it’s counter damage it’s just massive. It does struggle against Hawk and Ghost however.
