Great review I just picked this up 66% on Steam sale. I am a long time sim racer so used to setting them up with all the problems that come with this. I am using a G920 and nothing was picked up and had to map everything but this was very simple and worked straight away. I did have Ghub installed and no issues but then I am using this about 2 years after the review. I mostly used it in VR on my Oculus Rift S and found it overall to be amazing on practice alone. The Karts look outstanding in VR, so real you almost feel your in one. But on races did get some stutter on bends and fast turning but this maybe down to my hardware as I am needing a newer cpu and mb. I also tried on my gaming monitor and it ran and looked amazing with no lag or stutter. In VR and on my monitor I had it all set to Ultra and it ran overall excellent on my older hardware. Tested with a gamepad MS official and it was terrible the steering is like old digital and it was impossible to control I found. Coming from games like iRacing and Assetto, I am a fan of laser scanned tracks. So for me unlike what's said in this video I would rather less real laser scanned tracks, rather than to add extra made up tracks that do not exist in real life. Laser scanned tracks all the way for me and this is a selling point for this game I think. So my verdict is this is an amazing kart sim with amazing potential. If they improve on VR and add online with improved physics this will be superb. But I am having a blast as it is right now. And you can join the Discord to chat to the Devs too, which is always a nice touch.
awesome? its an arcade game!!!! theres no wheelspin and the karts feels like they have a big wing in the rear, really dissapointed, is not even realistic, if youre looking for realism play kart racing pro
upgrade your pedals it will feel so much better. i have a set of Heusinkveld pro pedals and just wow, feel so real. The g29 is a good entry level kit but limits a lot of games and leaves you wanting more
@@SimUKReviews Any idea when more gameplay features be added, career, online etc?Got it 2day and think it's good but more features and could be brilliant.
i cant change literally anything of the kart, i cant change even the chassis! wtf is this game? and the physics are terrible made, unrealistic and theres no wheelspin, 2 strokes engines have so much wheelspin when they come to 8000-10000 rpm, and this game doesnt make that, and the braking is horrible, even if you brake 100% you wont spin unlike real life, shit of game and arcade driving
You're meant to be able to full assemble a kart to your own specifications....latest update has introduced the first step towards this I believe but I haven't had a chance to look yet.

I wish I could, but I also agree with you.
Comprehensive review thank you
Thanks Jade.
thx you for your professionalism
Thank you
KartKraft is promising, but Kart Racing Pro is better, more enjoyable to drive and with better physics.
I agree with the physics; for now at least.
