Sandy Gottesman Interview: A Friendship in Finance with Warren Buffett

Sandy Gottesman, an early investor in Berkshire Hathaway, opens up about his long friendship and business relationship with Warren Buffett, from Wall Street in the 1960’s to the 2008 financial crisis and beyond.
David Gottesman was born in 1926 in New York City. He attended Columbia University and received his MBA from Harvard Business School and was the founder of the investment advisory firm First Manhattan Co. He became friends with Warren Buffett in 1962 and became an early investor in Berkshire Hathaway, ultimately becoming a class A shareholder and joining the board of directors in 2003. He is also a philanthropist, with major support of the Yeshiva University Medical School, the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and the American Museum of Natural History.

Rest in peace give Suzie a twist and Twirl. So many men to build a castle! 😢 I know Suzie is tapdancing and has her pink and white dancing shoes singing all over heaven😢 watching down to see what her only love is doing❤ it takes many investments to make a solid corporation. ❤️ When i hear how these men speak so highly of one man don't you want to be that man? How many people will be at your funeral.. when I get married I want everyone I helped to sign my wedding dress.. the Pitts had their children. Where the idea came from... it baffles me why people think they know what goes on behind closed doors. 😢 children's books! She was born a teacher naturally.
