Growing up with afro textured hair means that I always had to do my hair when I woke up unless it was braided. I could not go outside with my hair looking crazy. So I started to love perms and heat to tame it but of course it broke off. Now I'm back natural and I love it. I never go outside with my hair not done, but it's only done to my standards. People compliment me on my hair, but I tend to wear it the same few ways in order to limit damage from manipulating it. Afros look strong but really its as fragile as ever. Well my hair is super soft, tiny strands all over for me to love on.

I love how you wear what you show us in Hauls. Some people just buy things just to buy them and never wear them in everyday life. It’s a misconception because people think they should buy clothing items like that to wear regularly when no one wears a latex dress to the movies or on a dinner date 🙄

I am in love with the mint knitted sweater at the start of this video! The texture, the color, the baggy fit, & especially the mock turtleneck! Ah, so dreamy!
Running in the "shawl" or flowy cardigan like its a cape is also me! I have a long, transparent, pink, with watercolor floral print type one that looks great over a pencil skirt, or slim dark slacks with heels. I thought it was too much but I like how it flows by when I walk so its now my fav summer spring piece

But putting heat on your hair every or every other day is so damaging
I’ve been twisting my hair on each side when it’s wet then letting it dry that way. It does look messier and sometimes I think I should use the pandemic time at home to finally learn how to master curling and straightening but it’s so bad for your hair.
I love your videos and your enthusiasm! I don’t like the color, camel very much, but after seeing it with black and navy, I might change my mind about it!!

Girl, I have been doing a lot of shopping lately and watching your videos has inspired me. I pass by all cowl necks and sleeveless sweaters (neither of which I like anyway), BUT I also haven't been wearing my 3 button-down blazers b/c you said only multi-row, boyfriend blazers are in style. I'm so confused. Is it ok to wear my blazers that are 3-4 buttons straight in a row? I LOVE vintage and have several vintage ones I'd love to be wearing this winter that only have a straight row of buttons. Help me, Shea!
Just stumbled upon your videos because of your video about shopping for clothes at Walmart. That immediately got my attention because I know their prices are gfeat. I shop at Walmart for miscellaneous other things. I like the way you present yourself, it's funny sometimes and makes me laugh, and I really like your overall style.
