Growing up with afro textured hair means that I always had to do my hair when I woke up unless it was braided. I could not go outside with my hair looking crazy. So I started to love perms and heat to tame it but of course it broke off. Now I'm back natural and I love it. I never go outside with my hair not done, but it's only done to my standards. People compliment me on my hair, but I tend to wear it the same few ways in order to limit damage from manipulating it. Afros look strong but really its as fragile as ever. Well my hair is super soft, tiny strands all over for me to love on.
I have straight, thin Asian hair....totally different, but reading this made me feel so happy for you! That you’re sounding like you’re figuring out what’s good and you’re aware and in touch with your hair....It’s super interesting to read comments like these thats so different to what I know. Thanks Amanda ;)
Your happiness is contagious, Shea...thank you for your style tips (you're a spot-on fashionista!), but thank you even more so, for being the kind of girl I'd love to have as a friend! Stay quirky, positive, and lovely, inside and out!
Praying with you and for you, Mariam atef! God is with you! He will never leave you nor forsake you. Please watch more of Shea's videos because she is truly positive and funny and inspiring! Keep smiling! This too shall pass! We all have so much to be thankful for, even when it looks dark and gloomy. Sending you prayers, virtual hugs, and much inspiration! xoxo
@@meciesmoments6550 PTL, Jermecia! So glad you were here sooner than me to encourage Mariam. :) Depression is so difficult to overcome - can't do it without the Lord, that's for sure. Not for a lasting change. Knowing that He is there to hold on to - and is holding onto us - in the midst of the storm makes all the difference. :) Blessings, Shannon A.
Good for you for reaching out to others in the midst of your depression, Mariam! That's the one thing that can be forgotten the most in the midst of everything. Steve and I will be joining Jermecia in prayer for you. You are not alone! :) And she is right - God has promised to never leave nor forsake His own. You can absolutely trust Him, to be faithful anywhere and anytime. :) Christmas blessings, Shannon A.
I just wanted to say that I am LOVING your video's. I think I've watched your entire channel in one week :) Your style tips are so practical and easy to follow. Keep them coming xx
Hi shea, I totally agree with your point that say wear something that gives u an uneasy feeling. I had enough courage yesterday to put on the Zara slouchy jeans. And I did felt uneasy but it was great.
I was wearing black white and camel today !!! It’s the first time I do so.. I feel so stylish now... camel suede jacket, white fluffy sweater, white and camel scarf, black suede pants with black ankle boots and black purse
Loved that hair intro 🤣😂 And one person I admire is you Shea, love your style and personality, since I started watching you my closet has changed a lot also my jewelry 😘😘
I am in love with the mint knitted sweater at the start of this video! The texture, the color, the baggy fit, & especially the mock turtleneck! Ah, so dreamy!
Shea in a kimono is truly one of my favorite things!!! Also, I bought a new pair of jeans the other day, and I totally used your butt pocket trick! I could not believe how much of a difference it made!
I am so impressed with your authenticity! You have a style of your own, but share with us how we can emulate what we admire about styles in other women. You are my favorite, Shea! Such a beautiful soul!
Agreed with all of these ❤️ Funny the first ad had a leopard print sweater. Thought of your last video. Guess the leopard is hanging on for a bit more. 😂
I love how you wear what you show us in Hauls. Some people just buy things just to buy them and never wear them in everyday life. It’s a misconception because people think they should buy clothing items like that to wear regularly when no one wears a latex dress to the movies or on a dinner date 🙄
Running in the "shawl" or flowy cardigan like its a cape is also me! I have a long, transparent, pink, with watercolor floral print type one that looks great over a pencil skirt, or slim dark slacks with heels. I thought it was too much but I like how it flows by when I walk so its now my fav summer spring piece
This was a great video!!! I have been watching you for a long time now and really have enjoyed how your videos have evolved over time. You have a fun edgy approach to fashion that is so refreshing. Keep up the great work. Unfortunately my pocket book does not thank you. LOL
I am a 65 year old woman who loves fashion for creativity sake... I can afford high quality, luxury pieces by thrifting beautiful items. It is a skill developed over time. I so enjoy watching you because you are honest, fun, entertaining, creative and articulate. Your fashion tutorials include life skills which are educational for all age groups and cultures. I commend you. You are the best of the best in so many way. A million blessings are sent your way. I wish you continued success.
Just stumbled upon your videos because of your video about shopping for clothes at Walmart. That immediately got my attention because I know their prices are gfeat. I shop at Walmart for miscellaneous other things. I like the way you present yourself, it's funny sometimes and makes me laugh, and I really like your overall style. I'm a new subscriber and I'm looking forward to watching your old and new videos. Oh, and I love that sheer kimono style top that you wear in this video. On the hanger it was something I would not probably look at. But actually wearing it David a whole new look, very pretty.
OMG SHEA!! You’re almost at 1mil Subscribers!! Congrats 🍾 I’ve literally loved your channel since I’ve discovered it. Keep being and doing you girl, cause it’s working! So happy to notice since I’ve subscribed your already up 200k🤭

I love your videos and your enthusiasm! I don’t like the color, camel very much, but after seeing it with black and navy, I might change my mind about it!!
I love love your videos! I love your quirky sense and how you are you in your videos! I can honestly say that your videos have been helping me with my style
Great tips! Would you do a video on how to get out of a style rut? Like, when you are unhappy that clothes that you used to love no longer fit because of your body type and how to incorporate a similar look that is flattering for your figure?
I LOVE U SOOO MUCH SHEA!🙆♀️ I THUMBS UP ALWAYS BEFORE I EVEN WATCH UR VIDEO LOL WHO ELSE DOES THAT??? 👍👍👍 UR SO REAL AND SO FUN TO WATCH! LOVE U GIRL! ALWAYS SOOO GORGEOUS!!!🥰❤😚 AND YAY!! UR ALMOST AT 1MILLION!!!!🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️SO DESERVING!😚👍
Love this vid (like all your others)! Watching you wrangle your hair, I wanted to bring up "spin pins" if you don't already own them. They're so useful and help me manage my long thick, thick hair with only three pins!
Shea, I enjoy watching and listening to you. Thanks for all the positive and encouraging advice. You'r funny and so full of joy. I Enjoy your videos. 😁
I love you 🤣🤣 how you speaks everything that we are not supposed to talk bluntly. I love your videos because of how and what you talk😂😂 You're funny and relatable
Hi!! Well I have to say that you have been my favorite stylist that I follow. I tend to gravitate on your outfits and ideas. You have opened me up to so many fashion ideas “of course on a budget “. I never had that sense until you. I am still trying to figure out the show department since fashion and comfort don’t mix. Lol anyway thank you for sharing and one day I will get that one designer piece that can go with everything
That intro, yes, I also did that sometimes (even as an adult I tie a knot in my hair of my daughter's hair sometimes but usually on the head or the neck.
I’ve been twisting my hair on each side when it’s wet then letting it dry that way. It does look messier and sometimes I think I should use the pandemic time at home to finally learn how to master curling and straightening but it’s so bad for your hair.
I absolutely Love Your Style Shea, it’s very much what I wear, and Yes, Put together Hair makes All the difference to an outfit....Love the colour of that sweater you were wearing, it really suits you....although we’re sweltering in the Heat here in Australia 🇦🇺....Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Wonderful New Year To You And Your Family....Much Love from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🤶🏻🎅🏻🎉🎊🥳🎁🎁🎁🎁🛍🛍🛍🛍🛍
@@charlenejo2490 that would be the practical thing for me to do. But, part of me wants to let my hair down. I simply need to get my act together and learn how to style my hair.
I cut my hair short. Now it is the length that I can do something with it every day. I sometimes miss my longer hair for special events, but since I look more put together daily, the tradeoff was worth it.
She's right about the hair. Nothing ruins or makes an outfit more than the hair. It just looks cleaner.
My biggest mistake is not doing my hair everyday and definitely makes a huge difference
