- DAN ZANGER Made world record returns through numerous breakout strategies against many popular chart patterns.
His trading returns were staggering 29,000% + in less than 2 years.
He identified chart patterns like, Bull Flags, Symmetrical Triangles, Descending Triangles and many more, although a common theme amongst all his trades were; Volume, Consolidation, and a breakout through a resistance line.
In theory Dan looked for a consolidation in price and would trade the volume through a line of resistance. In essence a consolidation breakout strategy.
Known in general as a momentum trader, Dan used his strategy at a time when the technology sector blew up creating what is now known as the Tech Bubble.

@@FinancialWisdom I've been watching all your videos over five times each. I literally spent almost 2 months doing so. I've known about many of the things you teach in them. In fact, ever since I met Dan Zanger in 2021 I've been strongly considering becoming a full time trader. I'm considering joining your forum with the scanner software. My question to you is what are the odds of winning 3 out of 10 times just relying on your software? I have 109,000 k to start. I understand about the edge, and placing only 25% of my capital per position. Is it likely to get at least 3 out of 10 trades to be winning trades with stop losses of 1%? Bare in mind I mean 10 full trades and not simply a position. I am aware that in order for my edge to materialize I need the appropriate approach.
I have 34% win rate and 1:5 risk reward. Expectancy of 1.09. I trade breakouts. Initial position 5% of total capital. I pyramid with a profit cushion. My position can increase to 20%. So, I lose in 5% of SL is hit and make money on bigger size. Let me know if u have any questions. I am a full time trader.
@@eternalgospelsyou need to seriously think about what you have just written. How can you risk 25% of your total capital and lose 70% of your trades. You could be broke on a run of just a few losing trades if you didn't cut your losses quickly.
One issue with volume in recent times is it doesn't include dark pool trades. It would be nice if Trading View had a dark pool indictor, so far I haven't found one.

I use a very similar system but I use the 10 week SMA instead of the 30. I looked at the 30 and it would resulted in much great losses.
These vids are fantastic. As A full time trader I can confirm this is a channel to subscribe to if u are new to trading and sifting thru the junk and scams online.

Most newbies fail simply because they don't understand how the market works in general or in particular how the market relates to stock/forex or currency pair they entering. If a retail trades doesn't grasp what the market makers are doing and when they are doing it, the greatest strategy in the world will fall. I want to ask of all the successful traders on these videos how do we know that what they telling us is the strategy they’re using did anyone verify their strategy just curious . Thanks Chi, its a good question. I don't think they are concerned with sharing their strategies, there are so many stocks available and lots of subjectivity that any negative impact would be minimal.
Strategies cannot make money for you. Everyone knows everything but nobody will follow the rules. Richard Dennis (legendary trader) once said he would publish his strategy in a newspaper but noone would have the discipline and patience to follow it. I am trading currencies for almost ten years and currently trade full time. My only advice is dont get mad with your trades. If you can keep calm, even an average trading method can make money. Videos made by this channel are very helpful and beautifully presented. Trader should keep learning. The moment you think, you are the best,you are dead( quote by trader..dont remember his name)..
focus on rr ratio and managing draw downs because your win rate will decrease as market start to desync with your strategy

When I started watching the video, I was guessing he did it in the tech bubble era. Then I hit 1:58 min ... So for me no real whoah-effect.
I remember you could almost buy any stock, they moved like options. (Softbank from 50 to 500 in weeks, EM TV in Germany from something like 10 EUR to 1200 EUR ( before the splits) in around 2 years. Key in that time was as always: The stop loss is your friend.
I actualy also would like to know if he and also the scandinavian guy from another of your videos traded on margin or just with the cash they had.
