Sandra Hüller! Really, really love that selection! Amazing collection and selections as always, really mesmerizing work. Many of them are those who should have gotten the Oscars in their respective years. Of the 98, I've seen 32.
Beautiful video and great choices. I was hoping to see Fernanda Montenegro's name in 1998 (as I was back then in 1999 cerimony) but Cate Blanchett was amazing as well.
I've been watching your videos FOR YEARS and you NEVER disappoint!!! Sandra was the obvious choice for 2024. Regarding your channel, will you ever do videos for Bronze winners?! I know it's a lot of work, but it will be greatly appreciated 😎✌
YES YES YES! I had goosebumps while watching this video. I'm more familiar with the performances in the 70's until the recent winners and agree with most of your choices. Kudos!
I first watched your Silver Oscar for Best Actress in 2018. I can't count how many times I've watched every single one of your videos. Probably duzens, if not more. Today I go to film school and can't help but thank you for inspiring me so much with your edits. I think about them for 6 years now, very constantly. No doubt, your knowledge was an influence for me to be pursuing my passion for cinema today.
I'm glad you put Sandra Huller instead of Lily Gladstone! Lily would have made an excellent Best supporting actress winner but most definitely not a Best Actress one....
Amazing selection. But I feel weird about Ellen Burstyn being a lead, let alone winning for THE EXORCIST.. For me she was a supporting role, the lead were Jason Miller (Father Damian) and Linda Blair (Regan).
From a personal view, I think yes, I agree the possessed one is the little girl, and she received the attention of everybody, and appears a lot, etc. but you should consider from what point of view the story is told ... And that's the mother's, we see the story from her personal perspective, as if we were the mother here, thus, she is who performs the leading part imho
It is so bittersweet watching your wonderful Silver Oscar videos - for a few minutes I believe they were the winners in reality. A lot of them were my choices to win that year, but didn't of course. How different it would be if they had won. In recent years we'd have Rosamind Pike for Gone Girl, Issabel Huppert for Elle and Sandra Huller for Anatomy of a Fall - I'd be a very happy Oscar fan. And of course, Mary Tyler Moore for Ordinary People... enough said. Thanks Andres, I love the videos.
I like some of your choices like Gena Rowlands and Sandra Huller but, I would put Rosalind Russell for Auntie Mame over Elizabeth Taylor for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Cate Blanchett for Carol over Saoirse Ronan for Brooklyn.
I absolutely love your work. I've been following for almost à decade now, but you have speed your videos too much, we can't barely appreciate the phenomenal acting. I know you're trying to make the music fit, but maybe it would be better to ad à third score rather than increasing the spped. Love from Paris
Amazing performance of Sharon Stone in Casino. Susan Sarandon was far superior in other roles not in that one. The only one that rival with Stone that year was Elizabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas. But Sharon Stone was for sure one of the worst mistakes made by the Academy for not recognition. She was a force of nature in Casino. She gave the flesh, the bones and soul for that unforgettable Ginger
Some of these actresses have really performed better than the winning actresses of the respective years 😢

SANDRA! ❤
You have a good eye, more than most......some really brave (and worthwhile) choices.Finally.
So many on here deserved to win. Many didn't.
Another masterwork👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vielen, vielen Dank aus ganz Deutschland. 🙏🙏🙏.
Germany represents. So proud of you Madame Hüller. 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
Agree with this list Amazing Actreses🙌🏽
El Oscar de Stone es incontestable, pero lo de Hüller que pena que se quedase sin premio
I LOVE that you picked Huppert, Colman, Blanchett and Huller! Amazing list.
I KNEW you were gonna go for Hüller! My personal pick is Lily tho.
@@ReadingMartin Lily is my Bronze
Why 😢
Hoping to see Giamatti in Silver Actor and Yorgos for Silver Director. Fingers crossed!
Him or Zone of Interest for Director. Definitely Yorgos for The Favourite though.

Otro estupendo video!
As always, an incredible work

Yes so excited to see this!!
Amazing🥰👍🏻
I don't know why but this list is much more interesting and charming than the real one
Share such similar tastes I really thought you were going to go for Elisabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas for 1995.
Ellen Burstyn 👉🏼"Requiem for a Dream"
Glenn Close should have won the Oscar at least once!
3:19 💯
2023 was a tough year to pick but I really wish Sandra would have won ❤
I would say that the SILVER OSCAR for 1942 should go to Bette Davis in 'Now, Voyager.'
Sharon Stone, Sigourney Weaver and Rosamund Pike ---> so spot on !!!! They should have won !!!! Thank you for your amazing videos!!!
I’ll keep saying the same…amazing job as always…will there be a silver for best picture?

She should have won 50 years ago, and on the 20th anniversary of The Notebook which is how a lot of us knew her. RIP Gena Rowlands. 😞
god i love actresses wow

Many deserved to win the award. Many didn't
This year Will be Fernanda Torres!!!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Whoopi Goldberg should’ve won for The Color Purple. An amazing performance 🙌

First view and first comment. Haven't finished watching the entire video yet though...
i knew Sandra is your Silver Academy Awardee
Where can I find this music?
"Gravity", the last piece from the film Gravity
Bette Midler and Mary Tyler Moore, two of the greatest performances of all time, in my opinion.
Would have been a sacrilege not considering Anna Magnani worth of an Oscar in any of those only 3 American movies.
Amazing performance of Sharon Stone in Casino. Susan Sarandon was far superior in other roles not in that one. The only one that rival with Stone that year was Elizabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas. Silver in 1988 should have been Fernanda Montenegro T_T
1986, 1987, 1989, 1993, 1999, 2004, 2014, 2017 (Margot Robbie), 2019, & 2020 ALL should've been the actual winners
Lily Gladstone ??!!
