  • It's always nice to have an alternate solution in pocket, so you can solve your beady challenges in many different ways!
Many beaders say that it's easier and faster than Peyote. I love it because of the calmness it brings to a design.
Have fun beading your first square stitch bezel!

Thanks so much for linking this video again on Facebook! I had bought the Nacre box a while back after seeing this and then forgot where I saw it…😂. I’m excited all over again to actually begin using them and also crystals and pearls! Such a great starting (or ending) for bead design projects! So many ideas in my head now! Love beading school!

Thank you for doing this. Sometimes you just get stuck on a certain way of doing something. This is a great reminder that there is more than one way to bezel.

That was my goal exactly! The stitch is not new, but I barely see anyone using it - such a shame :)

Showing this way to stitch a bezel also makes it look like I won't have to sprout an extra hand or two for holding everything together while being stitched. Thanks, Erika, for sharing this method with us.

Dear Sue, many beaders say that this is easier for beginners, than Peyote :) Keeping good tension (not too tight, not too loose) is something to learn, but the thread path is easier, and indeed, no need to turn into an Indian deity :D
