throw it away and get a horizontal axis M3 or SM3 for your purposes. as of the panel - it's tiny... it won't generate a lot ) if you want some serious power - go get a normal 400watts panel, that will be even cheaper.

I've seen these POS tested and even 30mph winds just start to produce usable energy but only 2-3 watts. I'd put some N52s in it bigger than whats in there because with the torque it has cogging wouldn't be a problem. They still want $350 Canadian pesos for those craptastic units up here. Plus I'd drill new mount holes and take 2 of the scoops off
I got it because I was curious why they performed so poorly and wondered if I could somehow improve it. Now I think they are a complete loss; there is nothing redeemable about them. What is really frustrating is that they are giving VAWTs a bad reputation. By the way, we had a strong gust of wind while I had the cabinet door open and I saw it produce 0.12 Amps for about 15 seconds.

Did it come with a three phase rectifier? And try experimenting with dc to dc buck boost converter. Maybe it might work then?
Was wondering if you have tried a hybrid mppt wind controller with boost control it maybe able to help
That is what the VAWT came with. It did not seem to work very well. Unless the boost part of it was not functioning.

It won’t produce any power even install on my driving car !
About 250 bucks fancylooking garage produce nothing!
I think we need a hat adapter to mount the cell phone camera on, just to keep our hands free. 😊
