Me too, bro. I sit awake at night after days that, to me, seem just a little too average, and I fade to black while doomer mixes blast from my amp to fill my empty house so I, myself, don’t feel so empty in turn
Doomer here, and I don’t fear the reaper.... I’m 24 being crippled, deformed, and slowly killed by muscular dystrophy. The physical pain is tremendous, but worse is the emotional pain of seeing my friends live their normal lives while I’m stuck, left behind, abandoned to my fate. I deserve better than this, but the universe is indifferent to our wants and needs. If your physically okay and all you have is depression please talk to someone, get yourself help, live your life, you’re lucky to have one!
You deserve a better life but keep strong and live my friend, life may surprise you down the road. Your advice is much appreciated. Greetings from Peru!
Those things are just entertainment. You have your will, so you can be better. Stop worrying about was and wasn't. Worry about what is and can be. You don't need anybody. Essentially, nobody is connected to the world. People are just in their own cells of mindscape. Cell to cell. All you can do is look at them. Put the past away and just think. Take time away from worry and think. Every person has the faculties to be better, good, righteous, even perfect persons. I understand that a bitter truth is better than a sweet lie. The truth is that you are alone, just like every other person. There is no one to blame, but yourself. Your problems are your problems. Use your will, find wisdom, and fix them. Fix yourself. I don't want to have to watch you go mad in the Void. Life is precious. That is why Death is. Perpetual balance. Don't waste your life away. Don't laugh off anything. You will have more than enough time in the Void. Just fix yourself. No one else will or can. Message me pal. You're not alone. Voluntas Et Sapienta Animus Et Vacuus
Best of luck man. I've been in similar states as yourself. The best word to describe my life is exceptional. I've found purpose in my life. I've found understanding. Through the understanding I found peace. True peace. I no longer fear life or death. I fear nothing. I respect both life and death. I just want you to know that we can be better, no matter our situations. Whether you have muscular dystrophy or if I was molested as a child. We can't hide from our problems, because we can't hide from ourselves. For what it is worth, I love you. I'll have you in my thoughts, brother.
As a 26 year old who just learned the term “doomer” but has been living the lifestyle for longer than I’d care to admit, thanks for making these. I’m trying to get better
Suffering has become a daily thing for me as I try to get my life in order. I used to have dreams and asperasions and I have had to basically give it up just to survive. While I watch others around me who had better starts than me get to pursue the things they want in life, not with envy but wonder of what it's like for them.
This is the first ever song I learned on my guitar freshman year of high school. I was in a band at the time, and the first gig we had was a small bar right before the super bowl. I remember playing the rifts and the solo in front of a crowd of half drunk middle aged men waiting to watch football. I remember how they cheered for me after I finished. I think of that memory as I sit in my room, worrying about applying for college and my long gone band. I want to play again. I want to feel the praise I felt of strangers cheering me on. I miss my carefree will and my love for music.

So is this channel like, “dark” songs through the ears of a depressed person, or are there actual hardcore-sad songs? Alice In Chains’ Nutshell was the closest I could find to a true depressing song. Btw, DFTR is one of my favorite songs of all time - depressed 19 yo
Erik Frost as someone who has MDD (major depressive disorder) this is how memories are, at least for me, distant slow and darkened feels like something over it making it more vague.
Avozij sure, in a way I do hear things like this mainly when I’m just thinking kind of like zoning out but still hearing listening and understanding but too lost in thought to really react or respond, so when I look back it feels distant. Yesterday feels like months ago just distant like my life’s on autopilot. Subconsciously controlling myself while I just think and think while being sad just barley getting through the day, even when I’m home it’s the same I get home walk to my room turn on my music and sit until I go to bed, cut my wrists with thoughtlessness I just do it feeling sad without reason. I’m really sorry if this doesn’t make sense, it’s hard to explain depression with the case I have
If Don’t Fear the Reaper is one of your fav songs, you should out this cover by Ninja Sex Party. Gives an entirely different tone to the song, and still smashes it. ua-cam.com/video/PHnli6L9-mA/v-deo.html

Amazing visuals along with the song. Sadness incarnate.
I got depression and the only prescription is MORE COWBELL
I love your slowed down Music. Thx for making this
1.25 speed for the original song but lower tone
Scrumptious
That retro crackling sound is perfect. I love this edit.
This songs got my favourite solo in the world. That slowed down was pretty interesting. I liked it
Thanks for the tunes dude, I hope you've been good. Keep it up and keep pushing on, we're gonna make it someday.
I definitely shouldn't be listening to this right before my College Finals in an hour
Bit late, but how did it go?
0.75x speed is just literal *D E P R E S S I O N*
What the fuck it is
I really feel this with the turn of the decade approaching a the shadow of COPPA
This is probably the best upload on UA-cam ever
a doomer would play a telecaster
I thought they’d play either a shitty squier or a decent strat
@@bandolierboy1908 a squire bullet strat lol
Jazzmaster
SG and Jazzmaster gang
Jaguar all the way
1.25 speed is just a guy who couldn't sing it in that key, so he had the whole band tune way down
The moment when you realize you, yourself, are turning into a 19 year old doomer.
That moment when you realize you've been one the whole time.
Me too, bro. I sit awake at night after days that, to me, seem just a little too average, and I fade to black while doomer mixes blast from my amp to fill my empty house so I, myself, don’t feel so empty in turn
(I know that’s hella edgy, it’s the point 😂)
WAKE ME UP
This makes me wanna die but in a beautiful way
yeah id listen to this version at 3 am and stare at the ceiling as depression hit me big time
thanks man
Man I love this channel so much.
Something in the way... now this Man I’ve been a Doomer for so long
Doomer here, and I don’t fear the reaper....
I'll have you in my thoughts, brother.
now THIS is quarantine music
As a 26 year old who just learned the term “doomer” but has been living the lifestyle for longer than I’d care to admit, thanks for making these. I’m trying to get better
same dude I hope we all get better
Suffering has become a daily thing for me as I try to get my life in order. I used to have dreams and asperasions and I have had to basically give it up just to survive. While I watch others around me who had better starts than me get to pursue the things they want in life, not with envy but wonder of what it's like for them.
Finally a version in my vocal range
always here for a doomer upload ✌️
This is the first ever song I learned on my guitar freshman year of high school. I was in a band at the time, and the first gig we had was a small bar right before the super bowl. I remember playing the rifts and the solo in front of a crowd of half drunk middle aged men waiting to watch football. I remember how they cheered for me after I finished. I think of that memory as I sit in my room, worrying about applying for college and my long gone band. I want to play again. I want to feel the praise I felt of strangers cheering me on. I miss my carefree will and my love for music.
Same thing here, but instead of guitar it was the drums.
I loves Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper. Sounds like beautiful doomer sorrowful sad.
Doomerwave is my probably one of my favorite subgenres and hidden gems of the internet. Besides for Incel-metal (I'm looking at you Negative XP, you beautiful being)
What on earth is incel metal?
@@emma7933 Rock music/grunge that is sorta anti-woke. Talks about societal issues and is seen as incelish
@@WojikCantRest what, that men sometimes get rejected by women?
@@emma7933 I guess, it's sorta hard to explain
@@WojikCantRest I do feel kind of bad for incels ngl. They clearly have unresolved issues.
And also afraid of them. As a woman an incel is someone I would be concerned about encountering in real life.
this stuff is perfect
My uncle used to love this song. He died awhile back but he's still in our hearts.
Your videos expand my music library
I want to see how California Dreaming would sound
Shadoweyes 27 yoooo, yeah that would be a really good one
longing for a place you’ll never see again
ua-cam.com/video/Yp_7f-eihrM/v-deo.html here it is
The reaper really hits different
I cant listen to the original because of fucked memories. Thanks for posting this
Same I drove my car into a pole listening to the original song it brings back too many fucked up memories
@@ShoopJaWhoop Hahaha my guy, me fucking too. Glad I'm not totally alone here.
you can make this song sound ominous, but it doesn't sound doom and gloom. Despite everything, the groove is there and that cowbell is killing it
NOOOO YOU CANT PUT A COWBELL IN A SAD SONG ABOUT DEATH WAAAAAAA
haha cowbell go tonk tonk
The telecaster in the back is what makes this hit home 😔
They played this during a “History Rocks” short montage feat. Meatloaf about Jim Jones. I couldn’t find a more fitting song for that segment about Jim Jones.
Very loving voice. The Reaper can now take me away.
This song is timeless
Quality content right here boys
This song saved me a lot of times .
This is my favorite one of these, in a weird, sad way.
What are you trying to say UA-cam when you keep recommending me these videos?
This sounds like it's coming from somewhere else in the house, That or being played underwater. Mellow and yet subtly menacing, As BOC should be.
For some reason when the song ended and there was the few seconds of crackle I told myself "i gotta start smoking cigarettes again")
Buy a juul trust me
Yeah ikr i just feel the same atm
dont
Don't smoke pls
Brothers i do a lot worse than smoke
Not sure why this was recommended to me but Blue Oyster Cult is perfection
I sang drunk karaoke to this song when my aunt took me out one time.
everyone at the bar was like "wtf is this dude singing"
LA - LA - LA - LA LA
LA - LA - LA - LA LA
This version or the original? Important detail
This is peaceful.
Finally the perfect image and song combo for the American Doomers 🇺🇸
Just brilliant.
Something about when the guitar solo starts at 3:24 really hits hard in this version of the song.
Beautiful
The Smashing pumpkins - Mayonaise
PLEASE
Yeaah
billy corgan is a closet doomer
Ledgendary
I love Blue Öyster Cult
nsp's recent cover of this is absolutely beautiful.
Cristiano dos Santos Gomes Ninja Sex Party. they’re a comedy band but they have these 3 really nice albums called Under the Covers Volumes 1-3. the lead singer has a beautiful voice, i highly recommend checking it out
I remember listening to this song in 8th grade and it’s still one of my favorites to this day
So is this channel like, “dark” songs through the ears of a depressed person, or are there actual hardcore-sad songs? Alice In Chains’ Nutshell was the closest I could find to a true depressing song. Btw, DFTR is one of my favorite songs of all time - depressed 19 yo
Erik Frost as someone who has MDD (major depressive disorder) this is how memories are, at least for me, distant slow and darkened feels like something over it making it more vague.
@@aliceremley1515 Can you elaborate?
Love your pfp!! Never thought id see another pumpkinhead here
I don't know why but this doomer version bring me back to the childhood
Anything anything by dramarama or veteran of the psychic wars for more böc
my dad loved this song, he used to play it in the car, full blast, god i miss those days
I like how this is love song which basically says that you shouldn’t be scared of love just like you shouldn’t be afraid of death.
It's about someone trying to convince their lover to kill themselves together so they can be together forever.
Love you man, keep it goin
Do nirvana next, something in the way would be cool
Sounds sick yo good job ese
(Sets playback speed to 1.25)
Me: much better
I Forgot My Real Name same
I've been listening to this song for a while, and today I ended up here. It turns out I'm a Doomer too
