This took me right back to 1971 when this song came out. It was so special to me at the time & always made me cry as I had lost my lovely mum 2 hrs previously when I was just 10 yrs old. It's so nice to hear it again.
I'm 44 years old, still I know that I"ll get a call from my mom saying"Have you taken your lunch..... had your supper ? " be that I'm out of town at work or home ...... quarantine :) etc......... I know she will call...... I guess that's what mom is all about. Luv you mom.

it came out in 1971 I was 11 I'm now 57 how can you be 63
I am blessed that I still have my mum who is 81. My adult children are my world and I can still see them both in tears when their dad and I left home for a 2 year stint in the Middle East, then their tears of joy when we came home again. My heart bleeds for those who have lost their mums. My best friend died last summer leaving 2 distraught young adults behind. Cherish mums while they are here, I know I do. x
