Very good stuff! I was struggling terribly just knowing where to put my car on this track but tonight I managed a 1:03.796! Thank you so much, feel like I learned a lot from the experience
Thanks! I hope this helps me, my first time iRacing i seem to keep running 1.07s and getting killed by everyone. I never break in the corners and constantly am understeering. I think trail breaking and late apexing will help me a ton vs mash breaks before every corner.
I just finally figured out throttle blipping with downshifts which was the extra oomph to get into pole and 1st on this, I am rehabbing my irating and safety rating heavily this weekend.
My best time so far is 1:04.28 I feel like i struggle the most with the understeer, and also with applying too much brake. I'm using the logitech Pedals, which suck because you can't really feel the pedal travel, since it's rubbery. Also, I struggle with how much to turn the steering wheel. I have it set to 900°, but feel like sometimes I'm not turning enough, but it's just me understeering. Any tips? Possibly a video about it?
If this is still relevant.. some tips might be brake earlier and as much in a straight line as possible, when mid corner of the tight corners hold a bit, no accelaration or braking can give a better rotation. Just be a little patient and you'll get better times! 1:04 is a decent time already!!
Thank you, I used this and raced in my first race on iRacing after about 8 hours of buying it and I Qualified first for my race and won it. Thank you
Wow that’s amazing. But remember there are splits. You were on the lower splits but getting first and quali firts for a first time is great

Thanks for the tips Dave, looking forward to watching these this season and applying them in my races!
These things always end up helping me out with at least a half second if not a full 2 in some cases.
Absolutely love your track guides ! As an iRacing newcomer, they really do help.... Thanks man ;)
Thanks Dave, it's great that you include the overtake strategy as well!
This vid really helped me out, this was my first race in iRacing and I only went and won it!
Thanks Dave
Glad you found it useful! Thanks for watching

Awesome. These are great vids and just what I need to start dominating the AI... I mean real humans in iRacing! Thanks Dave!
Been working on this track for over a week now and my fastest has been 104.7. I am starting to think the fundamental I am missing is talent.
😂😂
Awesome, thank you!!!
