It's rare that I comment on UA-cam videos. I am a 4th (out of 5) semester nursing student...UA-cam videos are basically my lifeline for understanding class content. Out of ALL the nursing videos I have watched over the past semesters, I swear this is probably the most straightforward & clear teaching style I have ever seen. Thank you so much!
This was soooo good. He teaches very well. I watched this before my ekg class and I believe I will do well in the morning. Thank you for your simplicity.
I am a person that needs to know "why". I have been looking and asking how I know PAC from PVC and no one could explain the "why" to me. THANK YOU, you explained and it just CLICKED!!! I get it....you do a fantastic job of explaining!!!!!!
Brilliantly clear. I'm a non-medical novice wanting to understand my own ECGs (EKGs) and this explanation is as clear as day in enabling me to classify them. So glad it's the first I stumbled upon, and thanks.
I love this channel; the way he explains things is amazing. Because of you, I got an A for all my nursing prerequisites, and now, in nursing school, I always come back to check on this page. Thank you for explaining things well.
This video was absolutely amazing!! I feel so much more confident as an RN with six years under my belt and as a new FNP grad!! GOD BLESS & THANK YOU!!!🙏🏻🤩♥️
Just wanted to say thank you so much for explaining these EKG patterns in such a simple, easy to understand way! I am in school for polysomnography and we have to learn how to recognize the different heart arrythmias and I was completely lost. I just found your video and am blown away! Thank you thank you so much!
I have PVCs and PACs but I have more PVCs. They are incredibly painful for me. Most docs say they’re benign and shouldn’t be painful but I feel like I get zapped right through the heart. I end up getting these “episodes” that last a few hours, usually happen 1-2 times a week. I get dysautonomia with it and usually happens once I hit around 100bpm. Then from sitting to standing I’ll jump from 100bpm to 150ish just standing nothing else. I don’t think it’s pots because it’s just during these epsiodes. Outside of the episodes I also have bradycardia. Occasionally my Apple Watch will wake me up saying my HR was until 40bpm for more than 10min. I’ll also get high heart rate alerts too and sometimes will get both on the same day. During these episodes I have chest pain, shortness of breath, the dysautonomia, I also am clammy and sweat a lot. I’m weak and feel like I’m going to faint but I don’t and no one seems to know what’s going on. I watch these videos and I’m still just confused. During peak epsiodes I can get 7 pvcs caught on a 30 second ekgs on my Apple Watch. It hurts so bad. I wish I could figure out what to. My cardiologist said she only likes to to beta blockers for pvcs if my load is over like 5% and while ky pvcs are painful I’m more concerned about finding help for these episodes. Anyone reading have any ideas to look into? Thanks 😭
OMG, somehow it finally makes sense! I couldn’t decipher the difference between PAC and PVC since both occurred early but now it makes sense. Thank you!!!!!
I understand what is going on from how well you explain and break down everything. Thank you I am trying to get a job as a telemetry tech and your video is great for someone without experience to learn.
Are PVCs dangerous when they are with Innapropriate sinus tachycardia HR up to 163 -170bpm ? I've had this for over a year after covid and cardiologist aren't taking it seriously and I'm starting to get scared, chest pain, dizziness, palpitations as well fatigue. Thank you for this video. Any advice would be so helpful.
Great content - very easy to understand! I am watching this from my hospital bed while my heart monitor is displaying pretty clear bigemini 😮

Same here, painful pvcs, cardiologist not concerned because they are not many but they are enough for me.
Same here and on Ivabradine for POTS like symptoms. I have PVCs (quadrigemini) with and after exertion. My fatigue is off the charts.
OMG, somehow it finally makes sense! I couldn’t decipher the difference between PAC and PVC since both occurred early but now it makes sense. Thank you!!!!!
