I'm 64 and have combo skin. This foundation actually works beautifully for me and is so budget friendly that I don't see myself using anything else anytime soon.
I'm glad I decided to read the comments, I also have combo skin and the non oil part of my face is either fine or drier then the Sahara desert 😂 but I've been thinking about getting it so I'm glad I know I can!!

I love it. Im 54 and oily with pores you could skateboard in and it made my face look smooth and more youthful for the entire day. I do use powder but I definitely wear it more than my Dior now.

I just started the video so I haven’t got to your conclusion yet, but I have been SEARCHING for a foundation that doesn’t look cakey and looks good with my textured skin and I love this one on my skin ❤ I also use it with the cooling stick primer or with the liquid putty primer. And when I bought it online they helped me pick out the perfect shade for me! I’ve never had one that matches so well! ❤❤
I love E.L.F. products. They’re a great way to go if you are just starting out or are on a budget. I’m going to give this a try because I do want to explore the dewy/glossy/satin look and I do have dry skin.
The Elf double ended complexion brush is one of my favorite brushes.
One thing you gotta love about E.l.f. the products are a great price and a little usually goes a long way. ❤

I love this foundation. Im 44 and it sits really nicely on my skin, doesn’t emphasize fine lines or texture. I did have to powder my T zone throughout the day but that’s normal for me.
I almost watched this at work this morning and omfg I’m glad I didn’t because I absolutely cackled at James in the background 😂

Hi James! How are you darlin!’ I bought two of these on the ELF website! I’m 72 yrs old, and I have crazy combo skin worse in summer, that I get so oily, greasy I don’t even wear anything on my face in hot summer days except a spritz of toner! I also sweat a lot! I haven’t tried the foundations yet, one in light neutral 21, and a cool one, I forget the numbers. Anywaz, hope they keep til cool fall weather! You reviews and Beautiful and Bothered really help me with my makeup choices! Can’t thank you enough! Plus your dispositions and personalities are wonderful! 🙏🏻👏🏼🥰🌹❤️✌️🕊️

Thanks for the honest review Robert! 💜 Elf is my go to for colour matching but the hydro CC cream (also glowy finish) slides off my oily skin so I’m not entirely surprised this does the same! Still cracking value for money!
I have oily skin too but love the wet n wild tinted hydrator! Despite its name it gives a satin matte look

I love e.l.f make up, so I might try this next time, I’m pale yellow with combination skin. I love the revolution skin silk serum foundation and this looks to be quite similar.

I don’t think I’ve disliked any product elf makes. Not that I’ve tried like a massive amount of them or anything but def enough to know I love a lot of their stuff. I got tired of the whole liquid foundation routine bc I stopped wearing a lot of makeup during Covid and never really went back to it, and their powder foundation is amazing, I’ve never been able to use one bc I have dry skin….but that stuff doesn’t dry my skin out at all. It’s impressive
I'm a 50 year old woman and would love your opinion of the covergirl timeless aging line of products. I have been wearing it for about 3 mos and I am personally in love with it. But I'd love to hear your reviews on that line.
I absolutely love the double ended brush its my constant go too every day brush and its not going to break the bank love elf brushes they decent quality and can be washed and used over and over. Dosent fall apart ❤❤❤❤

Ok but, that Blush you used is AMAZING! Not only is the color so beautiful on your skin, but it also looks like a beautiful formula as well. I really need to try that now. Me and Blush have a sort of love/hate relationship. It's just so hard for me to find a Blush that looks good and natural on my skin and doesn't bring out the natural redness I get, and that also has a good formula that's easy to apply and blend.

Thank you for showing the wear test and how it oxidized. That always happens to me with foundations, and it makes choosing a shade SO tricky!

I have combination skin and loving it so far. This is the first drug store foundation that actually works for me.
I love this foundation! I am oily and with iowa humidity I do have to powder a few spots, but this works so well for me
I'm hella oily in the tzone and have yet to find (or see a reviewer I trust) any foundation in the slightest bit shiny that works.

I'm more interested in that contour palette, it feels rare these days to see a proper taupe/shadow toned contour product... but maybe when I've used up my other elf foundation I'll try this one, depends on what they've got by that time.

I tried this foundation in the swamp weather of Florida and it did get a little patchy where I maybe sweated a little and where I get oily. I don’t think I’d wear this for outdoor or full day activities but it is nice for a shorter period of wear.

I just ordered this along with the power grip primer. Im so tired of wasting my money on expensive foundation to have it not work
The shade range is amazing, and for 8 quid, you can afford to experiment with how it wears. I have awful texture to my skin (rosacea, which is currently flaring like a b*tch, huge pores and combination skin). I don’t often wear foundation anymore, but this might be worth a go.

Algorithm for elf! This was my first drugstore foundation, as I am a makeup snob. I don't really like this foundation, but I have super dry skin, so I still need plenty of moisturizer underneath. On my skin, it works like a thinner version of the One/Size satin foundation. However, as I am very fair and pink, yes, this foundation does oxidize upon long wear -- or oddly, in the heat (I'm in Texas). So even trying to compensate with more lavender blushes and Huda's pink powder, I still look jaundiced after 5 or so hours. Too bad -- a reasonably priced foundation would have been a dream.
Part of me wants to try this foundation but the other part of me that's trying to be less of a consumer wants to keep using the foundation I have because it's a perfect color match and I know ELF won't have my undertone
You and I are in the same boat! The thing that’s keeping me from buying it is the shades look too yellow & orange. Somehow knowing I’m going to have to add blue corrector drops every time I use it, makes it unappealing enough not to buy. I only hope it lasts…. 😂

❤❤ I should have waited...The initial launch was supposed to be amazon and Walmart then Ulta. I've been to 3 Walmarts and 2 Ultas... no body had it. Side note it has been almost 100° and high humidity for a week here in Alabama. 😅 At least now I know this won't work here during summer temps. I've figured our between watching Robert and ANGESCHKA. Complexion products that go weird or don't sit well on oily skin are a 100% fail in these hot & humid parts. ❤❤

I wanted to stock on the lip oil 😂😂😂 and this is on my cart.
I got 2 shades and can make them work both. The satin finish is very pretty on my normal-to-dry skin. Overall, I like this foundation for "short" days. I don't think it'd wear well on days when I have to work 10-12 hours.

It’s fantastic that brands are doing a more diverse shade range but it actually makes it harder to get your shade right without having to buy a few to work out which one. The lighting in shops makes it hard to match in store. It would be amazing if influencers like yourself would champion brands creating more trial sizes that consumers can buy. It’s such a waste of product and packaging regardless of the initial price. 😊
