Gabby left in 1995 after the 1994 MMFF scandal. His marriage to Jenny Syquia ended in 1996. I think he must have been a bit depressed when he moved to the US and did a self-exile. But after a few years, she should have contacted KC. Maybe he was too embarrassed because of what happened just before he left the country. Maybe he wasn't man enough to face KC.
So if wasn’t KC went looking for her dad. As Gabby says. One day his children coming looking for him. So Gabby didn’t bother to look for his only daughter KC. Maybe he feels guilty about himself hopefully KC finds a lovely husband that loves hers. Forever.
