I so much love this particular topic you're introducing now because this is the genesis of Igbo tribal disintegration as created by Nigeria government after the Civil war and love for one another has been jettisoned to hatred.
Our brother Evang Ebuka Obi, pardon them especially those born after the Nigeria civil war because it's one of the ugly effects/consequences of the civil war. It was Ogbemudia that introduced the denials of being Igbo when he changed the name of their town to Igbanke; made his people to deny being Igbo because of fear and to evade being killed when identified as Igbo. For instance the Asaba massacre/killings.
The same thing was done in Rivers State by Ken Saro Wiwa, but for different reasons; one of which was for the sake of "abandoned" property.
They need to be lectured and put right. The younger generations are ignorant.

The new program will be much appreciated, one channel on UA-cam called Nnaa Mehn TV, he is doing very well going to places as far as Akwa Ibom, Cross River and the major problem I noticed is that they don't realise that igbo is a language with different dialects and this problem was created by the British to divide and rule us. Igbos are scattered even in Edo, like the Igbo Akiri that is now called Igbanke where Ogbemudia comes from. It was changed so they could hv nothing to do with Igbo. The civil war really created divisions among igbos. Nigerian government used that opportunity to divide two brothers in other to manipulate,so sad. Ijebu,egba and others in ogun state speak different language from the main yoruba dialect,yet they still embrace their yoruba indigene. May God save the igbo race from division insha Allah.

I have never been this happy. It is like a lost part of a tribe is back. Nigerian govt succeeded in using politics of divide and rule to destroy the Igbo race because of civil war..However, before the creation of states, Igbos were one indivisible entity. They loved and cherished one another no matter where they found themselves. Later, the states were divided targeting the Igbo nation in Nigeria for disintegration..Apart from Delta and Rivers, I have seen many Igbos in Akwa ibom, Cross river, Bayelsa, kogi and other places.
Before the name Nigeria and of course before the civil war, all Igbos had lived together as one people with common culture, tradition, custom, belief system, religion, aspiration, desire, ideologies, worldview ,etc
