I watched live. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate. Many thanks.
Great! Excellent breakup of all the components you need to understand, especially for a beginner, to eventually put it all together in the proper way. Thanks!
You are the greatest, thank you very much.
Your tutorials help me a lot.
Thank you Sir for the lesson
Please show us more of that John Lee Hooker Groove you touched on ❤🦋🔥
I watched live and this was helpful. A question I did not ask that doesn’t exactly pertain to the topic of groove but is pertinent to blues guitar playing is how to develop the ability to fret the low E string while keeping the treble notes clean, e.g., D7 over F#, or F chord without using a barre chord.
Also, maybe it was not said because it goes without saying, but can you talk about listening to a song you're learning. Do you focus on one version or seek out and listen to multiple versions? Also, can you talk more about learning the lyrics and using them while playing without singing,
What is the jazz documentary that you mentioned that we should watch on you tube. Sounded like "the jazz of robots" but that couldn't be it.
Oh, it's actually very silly (and includes at least a few of the 7 words you can't say on TV) but it was this bit about knowing the lyrics to the songs you're playing: ua-cam.com/video/N9ZPIOWR6UE/v-deo.htmlsi=zQs8Vet4DGmHHsov&t=94
What is the name of this song? Appreciate your teaching, I own your courses on true fire! ❤
It's Leroy Carr's "How Long Blues." I should have mentioned that!
I'd love to know what Dave is watching on TV while doodlin'...
He is watching the screen,
