Mercedes glk 250 bluetec 2.1 L turbo diesel water pump New to this so don’t judge to hard, just trying to spread help around for those In need. Thanks for looking.
Just as addition to this video. I just dud mine 2014 glk250. When he seperates the plastic pipe its not necessary. There is room to pull it out as one. Remove the intake pipe, belt cover, belt and the pulley as on video. Then remive the upper bracket bolt and loosen the lower. Let the bracket swing down. Vacuum hose off coolant pipe off on the left clamp on the right ti the side. Break the seal on the right side hise from pump flange and you can wiggle the whole assembly out. Lift it up first then pullthe top towards the front which will allow the plastic pipe to clear the metal bracketthat holds the pulleys to the engine. Reverse on install. Dealer wanted 800 canadian in labour. Job took 2 hours with no hoist. Draining the system takes the longest
This code is frustrating. I had the water pump change over valve done at the MB dealer at the same time they were doing a large 7hr job under field measure warranty warranty. They diagnosed P0261f as the valve. One day later it came back.🤬 I already had a pump and housing ordered as mine had the plastic housing. Again a day later code is back. Checked vacuum for transducer by egr and vacuum drop. One new transducer and that did not solve problem. Since this code appeared I have done approx. 10k KM with no issues. Still very frustrated. The strange thing is I can delete the code after the car warms up and it won't come back until I let it fully cool overnight. At this point I dont know what to do. Other than this code the car works fantastic. Any luck let me know.

Thanks for the video
This is exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you. Was there a P261f code as well?
@MFDPaul did you have the P261f code? If so, did this fix your problem? I just ordered a water pump for mine today after that code.
@@SouthCoastPondssame question, any luck?
