Thank you. 8:11 I love how in almost every discipline you can say "everything is an X!". E.g. in numerical optimization, they say "look, everything is an optimization problem". In Economics, they say "everything is a question of supply and demand". Maths can say it, physics can say it, chemistry, biology, psychology can say it etc. etc... Even music. ;) They all have something going for them, but it might also be a bit of "if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail".
Congrats Chris, all your explanations are concise clear and you did an excellent job with the Byz prob. Let us know what we can do to support this channel and for you to continue this
Hello Chris, this is a great series! I have a question: can 1-tier architecture or 2-tier architecture systems be distributed or distributed systems means >=3-tier architecture?
I know just after watching the first video that this series is really going to help me a lot.

Great lecture! I am also a student in CMU. After listen this, I felt more clear about the distributed system.
