Yep, that's true. I could hold A for a while longer, but that doesn't apply to my units strengths. If I did stay, the next wave of enemy reinforcements would easily take me and my axe raiders out. And I really wouldn't count on my team to hold it any longer (unless it was ranked, then I would of held on for longer).

Great video. But maul is a maul, it should be doing tons of dmg to anything, especially comparing it to longsword. What is truly broken is their grab but i guess every class has their thing.

Yep, and it works on the paladin heal as well. You just need to press 2 and use formation key/x, they don't even have the animation if you're fast enough

Can you tell me how you got the epic storm doctrin and could you tell me why you move your palladins in f2 and not in f3?
For the paladins, F3 puts them in danger to hero stun and paladin brace. And in general, the F2 is better for charging damage while F3 is mainly used for the x v damage (but this is now much more difficult due to grayhair and palace guard spam, so focus on the charge and deal with enemies the unit has advantages over). The only time the paladins took unreasonable amounts of damage was when I used F3 against a maul, and those are the situations you don't want to get into.
So basically, F2 makes them less vulnerable to sudden death skills like palace guard brace, gray hair burst damage, or maul AoE's. Having a few deaths is better than losing half the unit
Gosh this axe raiders can win against all 4 stars melee troops, with massive hp regeneration and dmg reduction, can straight charge and delete against my stalwarts or greyhair, this is my worst nightmare
Honestly, their charge gets them into bad situations more so than, and considering how little damage it does it's just a good mobility skill. That being said, their melee cc immunity and passive damage reduction is leaps above any other unit in the game. And this seems to be the running trend with the grayhair, palace guards and berserkers one upping everything else in the same tier. The 'OP' Stalwart days seem like a joke compared to the current direction the devs are going for because they at least had a weakness. Really just hope the devs get their heads together and think about their game health which is dropping quite considerably.
I hope they nerf maul so far into the ground that no one ever plays it again.
This unit are very broken easy we kill 200-300 units per battle is the reason for the game need balance, and now with the new tier 5 return the days for ranged spam, we need more strategy improves as total war games for the ambush and flanks really support independent of the type of units for all players get chance for made good strategy with any tier from the barracks, for now its fun and easy to kill with this units same for ranged but i really hope that in the future we get a season for restore old skills for old heroes and more improves for sieges, greetings, and its good to see a ch that support some guides for play strategy, for now for cheap tier ratan pikes made the same work for epic doctrine only use the charge + the basic stat for poison that they have are good for take advantage for the type of unit that have good att speed, other way for the guys that try to get the current meta for support flanks is the way as this unit, greetings.
