I have this truck. I find it's a really great truck that's good for very little. It makes regular trails and climbs boring. I agree that it's very slow. To me it's a perfect Traxxas. Great at nothing particular and bad at nothing. It's 2 extra wheels of Traxxas bland. I picked mine up last year off the Walmart app randomly on sale for $499. The front and rear overhang is the biggest issue I've had in the few times I've ran it. It's the absolute last rig up grab to go drive but when i do i an reminded of how capable it actually is. It definitely needs another 10 mph on top if you can manage to keep it right side up. The body is quite heavy and it has a lot of body roll.
You’re right about the over hang in the bumpers for sure. What’s your favorite truck currently? I’m curious because the TRX6 is my favorite, but it’s also the only scale rig I own besides the SCX24 lol.
A fair assessment in my opinion! I did install a HW Fusion 2300se in mine but have yet to upgrade the steering servo... I have no complaints about my TRX-6, it's a great truck and a good addition to the collection of trail trucks and crawlers that i have!
@@FAST_RC : The HW Fusion SE line are very good for trail truck and crawling needs! I have the 1200, 1800 and 2300 installed in 10th scale trucks. The Fusion SE is my go-to first upgrade! 100% Satisfied for two years running!
