I’ve always like him! Love him on family matters and he made me laugh hysterically! Truth be told, l watched the show b/c of him mostly. He made the show interesting and funny plus more. What a fine man he turned out to be! I’ve a lot of admiration for him, the way he’s so close and raised his daughter👏🏾, l can go on! Moreover, when this young woman (Michelle Thomas) who passed away so sadly, his love interest on the show, may She Rest In Peace, l thought oh boy. These two are something else, they deserved each other 😂. The duo complemented the show. That’s life, we lose people we love, we mourn them and we move on. However, we never forget them and we keep their spirits alive and close to our hearts. Until next time!!!

My grandmother LOVED Family Matters and specifically, Jaleel's character. I was a kid when this show was on and I remember calling her and she would answer the phone cracking up laughing. She was a quiet, thoughtful, beautiful spirit but Jaleel would have her laughing in tears.. she died in 94 and hearing him speak on the death of his friend brought up so much

It's hard to see him in tears when he was always the one to make us laugh as kids.
She had alot of friends in the music industry, and some of that is/was likely due to the fact that her father was a founding member of one of the best R&B groups ever, Kool & The Gang, Dennis Thomas.
He passed away in August of 2021, so he and his beautiful daughter are now reunited again for an eternity, may God keep both of their souls...🙏🏼...

This one got to me for sure. Michelle had a light about her that was sparkling and stunning. I could easily see her as a friend if i knew her. I have a good sense of people and have amazing friends with that light and would have love to see her move on in life. But at least shes in a better place. I think he held back, but maybe after her death, he may have finally seen the feelings he had for her and maybe at that point, he wasnt ready, but left him with some insight on how to love and grow as a person but obviously it still hits him hard today. I hope knowing shes looking out for him shows the love she had for him and maybe shes waiting till its his time to meet in the next plane of existence.

I'm crying like a baby watching this episode after loosing my sister the same way to stomach cancer at a young age almost 4 years ago. She went fast as well so I know how he feels.

I have twice now and both times were filled with good, most recently getting to see my grandma Betty and if it weren't for her telling me I have more to do on this earth, that I had to fight to live I wouldn't be here right now. I'm being tested as everyone is and I do wish I could catch a break but at the same time it reminds me of the times I've prayed to God. To allow me to be sick and not the child I saw going through treatment with me. I chose to believe it's worked as that child is cancer free and I'm not. I'll take cancer every day for a million years over a child ever having it. So if I choose my way of believing and it's worked so far I'll continue on this path. If you choose your way of believing and it works for you then continue on your path. Don't ever tell someone else how they should go through life, you aren't the one to judge me remember?!?

I wish all the best and happiness for Jaleel. Growing up, he and the rest of the Family Matters cast gave me a family when I needed it but didn't even realize it. They showed us what a family should be in the best of times and the worst of times. I'll always be grateful for that.

I went to one of his live shows in NYC several months ago and he did readings of people in the audience. When he’s on tour, I believe he does shows around the country (maybe world?) and reads people in the audience. For a couple of people in the audience at the NYC show, he had his team set up private readings because the stories behind the people that came through were so personal and private that he didn’t want to keep doing the reading in public.

This is beautiful! As someone who has this gift you have to think about how susceptible you have to be to hear / see the things people try to tell you from the other side. We’re not really gone just here in a different form. Because we’re humans we can only think through our physical being. It’s the reason why you have a bad feeling about something etc but this type of mediumship takes time and patience. You don’t know the answer to everything you just know what people over there tell you. This was awesome !

The woman, actress was so beautiful and just kind…her reputation preceded her. I once ran into her at the Santa Monica stairs. Michelle was petite and just radiant. I was coming up the stairs and she was coming down and I was caught by surprise seeing her there in person and she saw my expression and just gave me the biggest smile. I worked in entertainment over 20 years and met countless celebrities and my favorite run ins have always been impromptu. It was shocking to learn she passed so suddenly, but she was like Chadwick and didn’t tell many people.
I love Jaleel. He is a beautiful person. Such a beautiful heart and the way he speaks is so pure. He is one of my favorite people of all time. ❤My heart hurt when I heard about Michelles death…. Very sad…
