3. We believe wholeheartedly that if you can’t control your tongue you can’t control your life so while on board there’s not going to be any cursing on this page. period.
4. There is NO room for mean people on board the Life Boat. Because we discuss very sensitive things from people’s past, here in our group setting, we have to protect those people. The only way they’ll feel confident and comfortable discussing those things is in an environment free of trolls and mean people. So if you’re a mean person or a troll, we are going to block you for life. Sadly, there are people in this world who enjoy being cruel, solely for the sake of being cruel, that’s not going to fly here.
But if you're here to learn how to live your best life, beat addiction and live a sober life, then you'll find that The Life Boat is just that .. A Life Boat.

Day 7 - I am really struggling with broken places in my marriage which was a root of why I started using. Kind of hating emotions at the moment.
I have found as a watchmaker and as the captain of this boat the patients and communications can fix a lot that seems destroyed. Not to trivialize what you are going through. You are in my prayers.

It's funny how right on target you are. Watching last night's vid, reminded me of the conversation I had with my oldest kiddo the day before. "She said I have to go pick up (my youngest) from work here in a bit." I smiled, bout started to cry, and said back... "No, baby girl. You GET to pick her up from work. Thank God she is here now and that she is working and is safe." We never get the chance to make up for what we lose w/each second and its passing. Sometimes we lose work, sometimes we lose keys, sometimes.... Sometimes, we lose things that matter most to us and can never get back... So your car doesn't have that new car smell at the moment (although, I am sure yours does by now, lol). Let me ask you this, Captain, how many people did you help instead? Did you do anything for yourself to make you feel better yet?
I'm finding that, IMO, it's all about balance. I've always had a problem of consistency and time prioritizing, time in general actually. I think that a lot of that is I don't know how to turn the world off and follow through with MY timelines and schedules... You know what? I think I am going to stop here. I feel a journal entry video might be more valuable here where I am concerned. Big epiphany of sorts, I feel one coming on, lolol ;)
I love you guys, make sure to take time for things YOU feel are worth it. You never know when it may be the last time you ever get to...
