  • A wood carved crown chair in walnut. This is a replica from a crown chair that is a part of the Skokloster castle collection (65 km from Stockholm). It is most likely of english origin and dates back to the 1690s*.
It has a hight of 141 cm and it is 81 cm wide, a truely magestic creation.
All the carvings are made by hand and also the twisted backpoles are hand carved and not a result of woodturning.
Many thanks to Skokloster Castle for so kindly having allowed me to get access to the original chair in order to take measurments and get a feling for the design of the object. Without their aid this project would not have been possible.
