I agree with you, Thando Mzamo. The idiotic artwork of Street Fighter V represents "why" Street Fighter is no longer popular the way it was in the 1990s. Zangief was supposed to be by the biggest character - standing 7' feet tall with large muscular arms. This Abigail artwork is so overwhelmingly STUPID is ruins the game. Abigail must be 10' feet tall with arms about 40 inches in size.

Abigail's design is ridiculous, but it's pretty consistent with the size of the Andores from Final Fight and how they towered over Haggar. But no matter how big you make the new massive characters, Zangief is THE SF grappler.

EDIT: And Hugo's supposed to be similarly sized to Abigail based on their Final Fight sprites essentially being the same from the neck down, but then Capcom went full stupid in designing Abigail for SFV. The only thing I liked about Abigail's design was that some modders made a Juggernaut mod for him, so combined with a Colossus mod for Zangief you can have funny-looking matches.

All these people saying "Zangief is not the biggest!?!" clearly did not play SF:IV or SF III. Hugo and Abigail are both roughly a foot taller than Zangief and almost certainly heavier. Thunderhawk and Sagat are definitely taller than Zangief and E Honda is roughly as heavy.

It's amazing how this game has been around for 30+ years and they never truly added anything significant to it. The mechanics and moves of the characters have pretty much remained the same. The graphics are great and they may have a few new characters but outside of that, not much different overall 🤷🏾♂️
