The basic logic of the system is to slow down vertical growth and encourage horizontal growth, thus slowing the growth of water shoots, giving the tree its energy to flower and fruit production.
The system does not harm the naturalness of the tree, it should be considered as a different version of pruning done with traditional methods.
The system that can be applied for each tree has its own advantages. First of all, there may be a question that comes to mind. Does this reduce the productivity of the tree? On the contrary, more fruit is produced using traditional practices than in the same place, as the tree's energy is channeled into producing fruit.
The fruit is at eye level, so it is easier to harvest than with traditional growing methods. You won't even need a ladder.
Since it takes up less space, it allows it to grow fruit in small gardens.
Less branch breakage ensures longer life.
Increased airflow in the canopy reduces problems with disease and pests.
The fruit ripens better and more evenly, as sunlight passes through the canopy more efficiently.
But it requires more careful pruning than conventionally grown trees, including extensive knowledge of what you're doing.
You can also apply this to a tree that has grown upright before, but it is much easier to apply it to a sapling that you have just planted.
