I will never tire of how your work goes from being a sketch of a cat, to a drawing of a cat, to a picture of a cat, to an actual cat. Beautiful work, as usual.
Thank you for your kind words! It’s always exciting to see how the creative process unfolds, and I’m glad you enjoy the journey from sketch to final piece!
THANK you Lisa! It is SO beautiful- you are an excellent artist, and a wonderful teacher as well. I have learned so much from you. Thank you for all your hard work and precious time , to teach us and share your knowledge with us; we truly appreciate it. Praying for your recovery. 🌻
It looks like its coming right off the page Lisa, so cute. The bow idea was genius. Sounds like the winter weather got your voice a bit. Hope you feel better soon. Many blessings, and thanks for sharing as always.❤✨
Those two mediums are soul mates! I also love using the black pan pastel on toned gray paper to block in large areas of a charcoal drawing. They play very nicely together. I'm praying you feel better soon, Lisa! Your poor voice! 🥺
Thank you! Unfortunately I recorded 4 videos yesterday so all will have my frog voice lol. What was annoying is my voice wasn't bad until about an hour before I recorded. That symptom hit fast!
Love the music and you get to save your voice 🥰I have a similar long hair kitty. Is pan pastels and colored pencil your favorite medium? The eyes are amazing. Thanks for a peek of your beautiful work.
I would say acrylics are probably my favorite... maybe just because they don't need to be framed though LOL. Ear scritches to your long hair kitty!! :D
Hi Lisa! I am still learning colored pencils, still only dreaming to become a colored pencil artist. I always worry about the archival needs, especially when it comes to pastel pencils. If you use your pan pastels as first layers, etc and then add the details with colored pencils, do the colored pencils "kind of" seal the pastel underneath?
I would recommend to seal it behind glass, she mentioned so take something in between the glass and the drawing too, but i don’t know anymore what it was. You could also use a special spray (for art, not hair spray!!)
Hi! I use spectrafix over my PanPastels before I start with the colored pencil. This helps to seal them down better. They can still smudge though so you will still want to frame it behind glass :)

Gorgeous. I love the soft effect the pastels lend as an underlayer.
That is the cutest little present picture ever! ❤
Aw thanks! I'm glad you think so! 😄
So realistic, Canada

Really enjoyed the music. Artist name?
No idea, it's something from the music service I use for videos from epidemic sound :)
