what I like about them is that they are all very talented and hard-working and at the same time unhinged and funny and give out the found family vibe, I love them so much. My favourite song from them is Take My Hand, they did several amazing covers (just recently Zhang Hao sang Baekhyun's UN Village and nailed it). I totally recommend checking out their content like different shows they did because they are funny as hell and have zero media training, especially our dear sunshine Matthew. If you are BL watcher, pay attention to Kim Jiwoong, he is the oldest in the group and he was in 2 BLs XD

I've never listened to ZB1 and know absolutely nothing; excited to listen along and check them out with you! Oh wow melting point 😍 loved that one! I agree with you about 5th gen groups... even a lot of the 4th gen groups are hard to listen to for me. Not to be THAT Kpop fan, but 2nd and 3rd gen really was when the magic happened.
i personally think 5th gen is starting to move away from the 4th gen sound and trend in the direction of 3rd gen! i wonder if it's because zb1 (and groups like kiss of life on the gg side) has had so much success with a distinctly not 4th gen sound that other artists are starting to see they can get away with that now, they don't all have to sound like nct/stray kids (i know nct is technically 3rd gen but 127 in particular really came to define 4th gen music imo)

Im a bit late to the party but if you were wishing to know a bit about the music videos for zerobaseone ze_rose which is our fandom name have believed they are all trapped in a game and its breaking apart slowly as you can see the butterfly that is usually in their videos glitching, same with the building not found in in bloom, the breaking of the buildings and glitchy fragments between the video, and in sweat how the rain slows down as to say lag. But we arent fully sure this is just some things that some ze_rose have noticed their could be more to it or we couldn be way off who knows.

I told myself I wouldn't fall in love with them cuz they are a temp group but like it couldnt be helped they are amazing and now they are one of my ult groups😅... I remember watching Boys Planet and I already knew Jiwoong from his BLs and then I fell in love with the other members and the rest is history.. Now everytime I watch their content I cant help but to smile especially when I see Ricky he became my ult bias for them but I also have 3 other biases Jiwoong, Hanbin and Taerae... Their music is so good they haven't had a song I haven't loved but Crush is definitely my favorite song I know some people didn't like it cuz its different from their other music and some say its to noisy but as a NCT ult I love noise music!!! Sweat has also become on of my favorite songs too ive been listening to it on repeat since it came out

their music has a lot of drum&bass influence in it (which i love and am obsessed with it), maybe that's the genre you were looking for
melting point was actually a promoted bside, the title track to the melting point album is crush
