The Knights Templar - Almourol - Nuno Osório

This work was commissioned by Maria Eduarda Caetano for the 90th anniversary of SFIRC's Banda Victória. The work describes the Temple Knights of Almourol Castle. Located on a rocky island in the middle of the Tagus River, this monument reminds you of the Temple Knights in Portugal. Almourol Castle was conquered in 1129 by D. Afonso Henriques who then handed it over to the Knights Templar.
