This is such a creative idea! 🐠 I love how Pothos plants can help create a natural and beautiful environment for guppies. Thanks for sharing this awesome setup-definitely inspired to try it out!
Nice! Ive been doing the same on my channel with as well as other things! Crazy how well plants and snail me can clean a tank. It’s at a point I just go by and add water for a few of the tanks
I try using pothos where I can in my own tanks on my channel. I love using them once they establish and start sending out tons of roots! With all the root systems, there will be plenty of hiding places for the fry in your tank!
Thanks! If they're fresh cuttings, it usually takes 2-3 weeks for new roots to form. Otherwise, it takes about 1 week for existing roots to adjust to new environment and sprout new ones to take advantage of the extra space.
Some of mine didn't start to grow rhizome until a few months later while the others refuse to grow rhizome at all, only leaves. If you have enough light, try fertilizer. If all fail, it means that particular plant is the cause and nothing we can do. Good luck.
I don't use fertilizer because the fish waste should be enough to sustain these plants. Adding fert will probably increase their growth which is a good thing if you like lust dense greenery. For me, slow growth means less trimming and work :P

Yeah pothos are great for aquarium. I'm glad your tank is that low maintenance. I'm gonna add snails too, so I don't have to scrub the glass often :)

Yeah pothos is such an amazing plant for the hobby. Do you use it in baby guppies tank?
I really love your tank. How long does it take for the pothos to develop roots? Thanks for the video.

i do use photos for my aquarium but their rhyzome don't grow much. they just grow new leaves, that too takes a lot of time. i wonder why.

Do you need to fertilise the water for the plants ?

why cant u let the airpump run 24/7?
I can have it run 24/7 but it's not necessary, so I don't. Besides, my air pump is a cheap one, so it's rather noisy 😅
