My favorite Grace Livingston Hill books are Found Treasure and The Obsession of Victoria Gracen! Funny! I'm currently reading Fall of Marigolds!

Wonderland Creek is my favorite Lynn Austin book so far. Chasing Shadows is a very close second though.
I never hear anything about Wonderland Creek, so I'm happy to hear someone feels the same! I haven't read Chasing Shadows. I'm adding to my list right now- thanks!

That edition was published by The Heritage Press- well made set!
Your library is beautiful! Your husband did an incredibly impressive job. I think I spied Savannah by Eugenia Price in the window set. I highly recommend that quartet. Added bonus, many of the places in the book are real and you can visit in Savannah - especially the house with the night ceiling.
I love Savannah, so yes!! I have it out to read sometime this summer.

What a beautiful library, Mitzi! It was to see what's on your shelves and how you've arranged them. I loved the Choose Your Own Adventure stories when I was a girl. I noticed some Redwall series books on your shelves. My boys loved those and read everything one and anything else Brian Jacques wrote. I remember reading Early Will I Seek Thee by Eugenia Price years ago. I learned to love he writing from the Savannah series and then wanted to read more by her. Enjoy your new space!

Read Footsteps in the Dark by Georgette Heyer to see what her mysteries are like. I think she wrote only 12 mysteries. My favorite inspector is Hemmingway but there is a Hannysyde also. Then read Why Shoot the Butler? I have not read the other Heyer books you own yet.

The Lilies of the Field is a favorite of mine. Beautiful library. A lot of books I want. 😁 Thank you so much for the tour. I always try to tell people that there is a difference between someone who likes to read and someone who loves books. I love books and also love to read.
Same! I'm a read AND a collector- very different things.
Of the Georgette Heyer, I would say to read Cotillion if you want a humorous Regency Romance or Footsteps in the Dark if you want a more light-hearted but Golden Age mystery.
Ok, thanks! They both sound good. Maybe a humorous Regency during Jane Austen July!! Think I'll pull it from my shelf and add to my Jane Austen reading.

I love that Ephesians commentary! It’s an incredibly deep dive into the book. I had to read it when I was in Bible college, it’s fantastic.

Above the desk you could put a cork board to use as a bookish vision board or inspiration board or something :) or to book booktube ideas/stuff!

@@mitzireadsandwrites I've seen the Don't Look Now movie and it was very creepy and disturbing and I've always wanted to read the book. It's now on my TBR list along with My Cousin Rachel which was also a very good movie, with Olivia DeHavilland and Richard Burton.

I read a bunch of hers in college but I don’t think I understood her at all. I need to give her another look now that I’m older. I was interested when you said you liked her work.

Wanted to say congratulations on being a Grandmother! And Wow! What a nice Library! Thanks for sharing this part of your life with us! A book I just finished is June Bug by Chris Fabry. He wrote The War Room. It was a 5 star for sure. I could not put it down! I had to find out what happened to this little girl! He is quickly turning into a favorite author of mine!
