“I struggle with that corner in real life too” really hit me I’ve been watching you for a long time pre covid Fs it’s sick to see how far you’ve taken all this congrats man. Really livin the dream and making amazing content keep it up man!
That'd gotta be a moment for Jimmy. That he can make that statement. Just a few years ago I don't think any of us would imagine him being able to make statements like that.
Yeah it's pretty amazing to see how he achieved so much in the past few years. The only thing that changed for the worse is his hair style! 😅 Come on Jimmy you can pay for a decent haircut!
I agree that it's really important to upload videos when it doesn't all go right. Sharing the full range of experiences is great, and showing how well you do (or don't?) handle adversity can really set a great example for others.
D Jimmer can do no wrong! Probably most of the others in these races are fully focused on getting around each lap in 1 piece as fast as possible, but Broadbent does it while he commentates on the action at the same time. Pure legend 👌
The fact that you finished where you qualified is an achievement for this type of race in my eyes. Better than starting at the back and getting turned into a mechanical sandwich
I can empathize Jimmer. I have those races every so often. It's actually nice to see that as good as you are, you still have those kinds of races too. We are all human.
Hey jimmy I’m really glad you uploaded this because it gives people perspective into some of the bad races, and how to deal with it, and it lets people know it’s ok to have good races, but it’s ok to have bad races too. Nobody’s perfect, and at the end of the day everyone’s just trying to have fun, and it’s not all about winning. Great video and I really enjoyed it, I hope you make more like this!!!!
Just recently saw that you did a video announcing pace-notes. Just thought would be fun to do that but with a reccy creating them and then do a flat out re-run to see how well it worked...
Really enjoying these latest videos! It's like getting back to old school Jimmy videos. And don't get me wrong, I like the "real world" videos too, but I always enjoyed just watching a 30 minute sim race with you commenting through out on the race. 👍
Haven't had this much fun in iRacing in a while, that was an incredible combo, probably had my best streak of races there, 5 wins in a row. Hope it comes back one day, but man, it gets you sweating. Also glad you got this less than great race and still uploaded it. Hope to see more GTP stuff from you, maybe a weekly ringmeister stream or something, always fun watching you race
Was fighting for the lead in one of those races, when the guy in front spun and hit the barrier, even harder then you did. I couldn’t completely avoid him and clipped his front end. My entire front suspension exploded. 6 minutes repairs, potential win gone. What really made it sting was the guy who spun (on the way to the pits he hit the barrier another time) only had like 2 minutes of repairs.
Appreciate you uploading videos like this, I constantly have issues with pushing too far in races and it is nice to see amazing drivers do the same. Gives me hope to still get good.
Truth be told, being the self-proclaimed "most mediocre sim racer", makes you one of the best Jimmy. I also think it's why your fans get so collectively excited when you succeed. Thanks for bringing us along even during the mediocre moments.
The wave to the rebel tree early on warms the cockles of my heart ❤️ 😊 "Right, now head down" 😅 Thought process on fire, in a bad way. Editor on fire in a good way! Wait! Where's the GP pit garages building?!
“One mistake ruined my race”. Jimmy: makes mistakes during the whole race xD. Didn’t enjoy the first song to be honest, but I loved the second one (Deep House vibe is perfect for racing), as I enjoyed the second part of the video. It’s always fun to see Jimmy suffer 😂
This is Jimmybroadbent i know, just uploading his runs is already entertaining to me. This is also a good learning for reference and stuff. More of this jimmer. 🤟🤟
No matter how many laps we’ve turned at this circuit there’s always that one corner for us that always trumps us, just the beauty of this track, to me at least I don’t think it’s ever tameable
Ngl when I ran the IMSA Endurance race at the Nordschliefe a couple of weeks ago I kinda got the thinking, it’s more of just a shower thought, but I got to thinking how to get prototypes racing around the Nordschliefe again ever since during the Group C era. WEC bringing back the 1000km of Nurburgring on the full course. GP and North Loop combined. Someone can correct me on anything or tell me why this wouldn’t work or whatever. But let’s just say that during the summer WEC announced they would add the Nordschliefe to the schedule for 2025, what would need to change for Hypercar to race the full 25km long circuit? LMGT3 would just run the normal setups GT3s run on the norm, but for Hypercar you’d need to slow em down quite a bit. There’d have to be a number of things. I thought well you’re gonna need to lower the downforce, add weight to the cars, and lower the horsepower. Would need to do this so drivers aren’t facing large amounts of g forces. It’d probably be like Le Mans spec with GT3 weight and GTE horsepower numbers. Ik it’d never happen but it’d be interesting to think about. Something that’d definitely would have to be done in Assetto Corsa for now.
i would like to see you do a full race with a GT29 to see how much of a different it makes or if it is really all "skills" (i know skills is also that you can feel more in the wheel and react, but still it would be fun to see)
i mean yes you had a terrible mistake but hey atleast its a good content jimmer, thumbs up to the editor tho really love the memes on this vid. not too much to distract but enough to enjoy
2 places lost for such a tiny mistake. Just goes to show how tricky things are when you're at, or nearly at the limit. Thanks for uploading, as you say it's important for people to see races go wrong even for the best drivers. Cheers, take it easy.
I died in the first corner (p2) it was my first race in this series so i was trying to be cautious. After this one the races went great lots of wins, podiums and top 5's gaining 500 irating in about 10 races that week🙌🏼
if there's 1 group packed together 35secs in front of you, and then there's another group packed together 35secs behind you, i think it may be time to take a shower or something like that..
Any content is good jimmer brandlewagon content, it's how you react to it. If you're too hard on your self, it takes away from the fun n games. Like wise with being a little bitch, which you're not. Taking it in stride, learning from it and just enjoying being able to do this sort of thing as some kind of living is an amazing thing. Entering the pits at the same time as your competitor, but they leave before you? Drop a casual "Huh, that was a short fuel stop...". Let the Anxiety do its thing.
Keanu is a current F4 racer, they're in the F4 Middle East championship which is currently ongoing
Won a race didn't he?
@@LuminalSpoon won a couple, currently p2 in the championship
Keanu Reeves?
Raced that guy last night on the ring with LMP3 my quickest lap was a 6:25 which I thought was quick his was 6:18! It was literally insane
Dude sounds like a beast. Hope he eventually gets a shot at whatever series they want
“I struggle with that corner in real life too” really hit me I’ve been watching you for a long time pre covid Fs it’s sick to see how far you’ve taken all this congrats man. Really livin the dream and making amazing content keep it up man!

"Entire race ruined" - loses 1 position.
Literally doesn’t drop from his starting position
The worst critics are we ourselves, I'd feel similar haha
Elite editing 😂 loved this video
I was dying for a while after the "head down" bit
remember #3 on your board jimmer: it's ok to make mistakes
doesn't mean it doesn't hurt
D Jimmer can do no wrong! Probably most of the others in these races are fully focused on getting around each lap in 1 piece as fast as possible, but Broadbent does it while he commentates on the action at the same time. Pure legend 👌
Thanks for uploading this one Jimmer. Good to see some all out racing and thatn like you say, they don't all go to plan
The fact that you finished where you qualified is an achievement for this type of race in my eyes.
Better than starting at the back and getting turned into a mechanical sandwich
'mechanical sandwich' - I'm gonna start using that 😆
Editor-chan had a field day with this one
I can empathize Jimmer. I have those races every so often. It's actually nice to see that as good as you are, you still have those kinds of races too. We are all human.
these iracing gameplay videos are amazing mate, keep it up!

I had a stressful day and watching this cheered me up, though I hoped your race had gone better. Thank you much!
Haven't watched yet, but I did a 50/50 grind with the Ligier on a sausage curb in Nordschliffe this week. So that was fun.
Love seeing the pros make the same silly mistakes I do (though less of them), makes me accept mine with less critical self-appraisal.
Really enjoying these latest videos! It's like getting back to old school Jimmy videos. And don't get me wrong, I like the "real world" videos too, but I always enjoyed just watching a 30 minute sim race with you commenting through out on the race. 👍

Jimmy: *breathes*
Cadillac: So you have chosen death...
I just googled that Keanu Al Azhari gentleman. WOOOO that kid is a badass! The future of motorsport is BRIGHT with drivers like him!
you should do a b roll on one of these recaps with house music, that'd be incredible
I second this, full endurance races with a house mix
a bad day racing is still better than a good day at work.
Editor chan always chooses bangers for the soundtrack.

yeah, I'm terribly critical of my mistakes, seeing these helps accept my own.

Fantastic vibe on the editing. Shame the race kinda fell apart. Even the best have their moments.
The wave to the rebel tree early on warms the cockles of my heart ❤️ 😊
"Right, now head down" 😅
Thought process on fire, in a bad way. Editor on fire in a good way!
Wait! Where's the GP pit garages building?!
Great to show a relatable race and editor smashed it on this one.
“One mistake ruined my race”.

I love this current style of editing jimmer!
The editing takes this video to the next level - well done
I feel your pain. I did a Formula ford race yesterday, forgot where I was, and arrived at the turn in point of a 1st gear corner in 4th!!!!!!
The editing lately has always had me laughing. Well done
Finally Rebel tree is being included...thank you
The track 8:28 is chefs kiss
If someone can ID it please let us all know, Shazam cant find it lol
Google doesn't recognize neither! Any capitan here?
@@rensworrld I have no idea, but it sounds like Gran Turismo music to me.
Not often the first three seconds of a video have me cackling, cheers for that jimmer XD
More like Chadlillac 0:44
Absoloutely loving the iRacing content!
That sneeze edit made me turn into a water fountain for a short while, thank you editor!
can confirm chasing a good lap in GTP around the northern loop is very tricky. took me a couple of weeks before i got an okay lap
The Jordan Taylor crash at 0:35 😭😭😭😭😭 That killed my mood for like a week when it happened.
No matter how many laps we’ve turned at this circuit there’s always that one corner for us that always trumps us, just the beauty of this track, to me at least I don’t think it’s ever tameable
The editing was pure comedy gold ;-)
if that's leery, could you imagine the ground effect only peugeot here?

9:35 Brain.exe has stopped working. Brain has shut down to prevent dame bramage. 🧠
i would like to see you do a full race with a GT29 to see how much of a different it makes or if it is really all "skills" (i know skills is also that you can feel more in the wheel and react, but still it would be fun to see)
Love this! I Racing content just feels great
As someone who races IRL too I think you'd do better than most there Shed boi!!!
Top notch editing on this one!
editor-chan is elite this was really funny
Imagine pullin up to a iRacing lobby and Jimmy is there driving.
Still bossed it Jimmer! Good to see the mistakes as well, we're all human
It's a learning experience, to be sure. Keep at it, you'll be fine.
Jimmy when I ruin a race it is forgetting to break for a hairpin and end up in the nether realm
Hey jimmer, i was wondering... Have you ever been to ebishu in japan? A other sim racer learned drifting in just 12 days time 😮
The edit for the cromonch was wonderful
Has anyone noticed where the pit building and bridge is on the gp track?
8:29 "330i line"
For me thats just the line for everything.
The comeback of Jimmy Bottlebend
Don't try Mugello...everyone gets recked and fecked my GT3 😭
i mean yes you had a terrible mistake but hey atleast its a good content jimmer, thumbs up to the editor tho really love the memes on this vid. not too much to distract but enough to enjoy
Jimmy what is that screen display that you are used called?? It looks good and I wanna use it?
Hey Jimmy, always upload the "bad" races, It's good to watch nonetheless
I loved your performance as the inspector in Hot Fuzz
Jfc
always love it when sweaty boi shows up 🥵
You looking forward to the Aston Martin LMDh V12, Jimmy?!
“Its almost like driving a gtp around here is a bad idea”
Foreshadowing
Appreciate you Jimmy❤
I really enjoy the races where fuckups happen makes ya aliens seem human and me not feel so bad about my pace lol
this man is all i remember about 2023
I love the editing
Poor Cadillac. I feel bad for them that Jimmy is driving today!
13:07 what does The flashing red and white mean?
Dude, that was BARELY enough fuel for the qualifying lap. Holy crap.
2 places lost for such a tiny mistake. Just goes to show how tricky things are when you're at, or nearly at the limit.
Thanks for uploading, as you say it's important for people to see races go wrong even for the best drivers.
Cheers, take it easy.
Don't be so hard on yourself Jimmy, you did well!
0:37 I witnessed this IRL. Annoying as I was rooting for them.
11:00 lmao 🤣
Does anyone know if there’s an app for assetto corsa that has the hud showing the gears, lap time etc like shown in the video
I died in the first corner (p2) it was my first race in this series so i was trying to be cautious. After this one the races went great lots of wins, podiums and top 5's gaining 500 irating in about 10 races that week🙌🏼
You’re awesome bro!!!!
It's okay to make mistakes 🙂
Basically when you are hardcore racing on the Nordschleife you gotta go 919 lap mode if you want to scale positions.
if there's 1 group packed together 35secs in front of you, and then there's another group packed together 35secs behind you, i think it may be time to take a shower or something like that..
Nice video with the music
I can barely get this car round Mid Ohio so this was impressive!
Yeah nah mate. I run the IMSA Enduros, saw that on the schedule and wrote it off as a drop week.
More content like this!

Whats the song starting 8:30?
Well this championship looks great but the car and circuit looks like major death 😅
Does anyone know the song at 8:27
the beat at 7:00 slaps
Personally not a fan of tiktok-ish music, but Jimmer does Jimmer.
nah that alpha male bs music can go f off
walen - headphonk
Come on dawg 🎉 new video
New editor, or just trying out some different things?
Rebel tree my beloved
