I’m a full time mom, student, and medical assistant. I’ve learned over the summer that I need to balance everything and also find time for myself. It’s hard to take care of yourself when you’ve got so many other priorities but self care is most important because I can’t be the best mom, student, employee, wife, etc... unless I’m taking care of myself and my mental health as well. What ive learned as a mother of 4 and one with a difiance disorder is that patience is a huge factor. Ive learned that dealing with a child who has low self esteem is tough. Trying to teach them right from wrong and trying to uplift them when they feel low is one of the hardest things to go through with children who have disorders. With this it has called for many girl beauty days playing with their makeup and hair accessories. Its called for a lot of mommy and me time. Its called for many uplifting talks. Ive learned a lot this summer that the only person you can really count on is yourself in order to make sure your children dont feel disappointed by others. Our kids are ready but very nervous for school. Our oldest has been through a lot this past year and summer. First time in middle school and she cant wait. All i hope for is their happiness and that they do well. This summer has tought a lot to not only me but my husband and children as well. I love watching your videos, my girls and even oldest son loves to watch what you can do and in most cases they decide to try these styles on mommy which leave me looking like a clown most of the time 😂 i wouldnt trade it for the world. Thank you for teaching about how to do makeup also. Ive learned a lot from your videos. I mainly learned to not hold myself back, and to go for what I believe in and love. I need to push myself in the hardest times, and stop giving up on myself. I can do everything I set my mind to, but I must have a healthy mindset first. Mental health is key!!! 🧠💪🏽

I’ve learned that the goals and things you want to achieve will not reach you while you are lying down, eating chips and watching series on Netflix ... if you want something you should leave the series and chips aside and go looking for that you've been dreaming all your life. you must stop imagining and make it happen...

This summer I’ve learned about budgeting! I used to be super stressed about spending money and always felt guilty buying things, but now I have an easy way to keep my finances in check. College is stressful enough, and now I’m so relieved to have one less thing to worry about 😊

What I've learned over this summer is appearance is not everything, and you shouldn't envy other because of what we see on the outside. And just be thankful of what you already have and always be kind to others as much as we can. I already do this, but this year I'm spreading more love and kindness around me and let the love flow through everyone. I'm forever thankful for my son and my husband ( I just turned 29 this month lol ) and happy to be around my family and friends and everyone run into. Thank you for being my inspiration.
