This song really reignited the flames of adrenaline I had when fighting Death SCal 5 years ago back when she still had her 10 hit counter. Really am thinking of returning to Terraria Calamity once more to challenge the Brimstone Witch again in Infernum.
Wow, that opening gave me chills. Definitely gave Eidolon's motif justice there. The duet is also cool and nicely embodies that motif from Storm Before the Dawn. Wow, I've had to listen to this a few times to fully form an opinion on it. It's got a lot to say, and so do I. Firstly, this track is exceptional. I think it's probably my second favourite of yours. I think it falls short of Storm Before Dawn personally, that's one of my favourite songs in general though so that's unsurprising. It's still a fantastic track though, don't get me wrong, you've certainly gone out with a bang. I'm not entirely sure about how well it suits SCal as a theme, I'm going to have to try it in game to properly get a feel for that, but there's something that does feel like it's not really got the kind of atmosphere that gels perfectly well with SCal. Still, I'm not sure there's anywhere in the game that'd be any more fitting for it than SCal, so it is what it is. As for the lyrics and what they say about you and the community, I also have a few thoughts. First, huge respect to you for putting yourself and your feelings out so publicly, that takes a lot of courage. I think it really captures the themes and ideas it's going for really well, and I think the explicit expression of the emotion really helps, even though normally I'd advise against it. I think with pain and resentment it can often be quite powerful and effective, as it is here. They give a lot to think about and I'm going to really enjoy thinking about them more deeply as I relisten to this over and over. Thirdly, I'd like to apologise, from me as an individual and from us as community, for what we've done so many times now. You, and Dokuro, and Charlie, and ENNWAY, none of you deserved what we gave you. Or, rather, what a particularly vocal subset of the community did. The anger, and the demands, and the unfair comparisons, and so on and so forth. I hope that this time, with such a visceral example of what effect we've had, the community learns from its mistakes, and we can keep that number down to four. I'm not as hopeful as I'd like to be though. Lastly, thank you for all you've done for this community. Your work on both the calamity and infernum soundtracks have been absolutely fantastic, and it's been a joy to see you learn and grow as an artist over the years. Good luck in your future music career, wherever it takes you, and I'll be sure to follow it, because I absolutely love what you do and you make. Thank you for all of this, it really means a lot for me and so many others. You can bow out of this community with your head held high. Godspeed my lonely angel.
The original Stained, Brutal Calamity Motif in this S&M part is truly amazing, it gave me chills the first time i heard it, and i dont lie when i say i've been hearing this for few hours just because how this is, the lyrics are amazing and the voices are amazing as well. Good job to all the people who made this masterpiece of a song!
I came expecting something new, but goddamn are the vocals, motifs, and overall music good! It's been a pleasure to find your music, and I can't wait to see what you do next!
Back about half a year ago, the end of last summer I think this song may have saved me from abandoning myself Thank you for making this song and sharing it with me, PinpinNeon
I am. So mad at myself for not finding this earlier, same for your channel! I had no clue you composed some of my favorite tracks. Great work! (Also, hearing some of the motifs from Stained Brutal Calamity was so cool!!) Keep on keeping on!!
Everyone here about the song itself, im here for the meaning. I feel ya. These people never felt the hatred, yet they spray it on every composer of this community.
Lyrics: For in their heart remains their guiding light HAVE YOU ALL KNOWN WHAT IT'S LIKE TO FEEL HATRED? TO REALIZE THAT THERE'S ROOM FOR IT IN YOUR HEART? LONG AGO I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD FEEL IT BUT IT SEEMS THAT I WAS JUST TOO NAIVE TO SEE THE TRUTH See these scars that hide memories (Those scars that hide memories) (of the times) Before I tried to live with myself? (I could not live with myself) They were born of pain from my heart, (If they're born of pain from my heart,) which had become blackened and broken (is it blackened and broken?) Chorus: Hear my last hopes Engrave them for all to see The shattered wings that still dream of taking flight My soul will burn (My soul will burn) By the flames of calamity (By the flames of the world that scarred my heart) Despite these trials of fire In the end I still see the light WHAT IF THE LIGHT THAT YOU SEE NOW IS JUST A FAKE- AN ILLUSION? WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS DELUDING YOURSELF INTO SEEING FALSE HOPES! YOU REALLY THINK THAT WHAT YOU'VE DONE WILL BE ENOUGH FOR THOSE VOICES!? THEN LET THE ONE INSIDE YOUR HEAD CONTINUE TO MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL! Final chorus: Here we are again back in the void Where my heart lays dead And my mind's driven insane The pale imitation of myself Trying to reach for the stars But if in the end there's no one that Can hear the sounds Of my soul writhing in pain Then let the storm before dawn become As dark as my own scars (Here we are again back in the void Where my heart lays dead And my mind's driven insane The pale imitation of myself Trying to reach for the stars) But if in the end there's no one that Can hear the screams Of my soul howling in vain Then let the sky after rain become As dark as my own scars
I really liked how this song took the motif of the base calamity mod, as well as taking the motifs of both storm before dawn and sky after rain and adding a darker vibe to make it fitting towards the boss itself. I only saw this channel not long ago and all of the songs hit deep (even considering my narrow taste in music). This is one of my favorites from here (as well as storm before dawn, sky after rain, and guiding light). I hope whatever you do after this will be as good for you as your songs have been for me.
2:12 has probably the BEST leitmotif I heard, if you can't tell the pitch and the way the vocals *sound* are supposed to mimic Stained, Brutal Calamity and it is GLORIOUS. It gives off the actual energy that you have reached the end, like there is nothing else beyond the point and that you've let the fire inside of you burn everything to the ground, and then let it die out peacefully
As a certified Supreme Calamitas simp, i see this as an absolute masterpiece. (btw it's really so damn good, the vocals are beautiful and lyrics are deep and fit the character, amazing work, you have earned respect of another Calamity mod enjoyer.)
I agree, but I think the music of infernum has a different theme than regular calamity, and I think this one fits better with infernum. Because the Calamity songs felt like it was from the perspective of the boss, but infernum songs feel like its from the perspective of the player.@@kingston5469

A great wrap up to a great soundtrack. I am looking forward to any of your future products. It was nice seeing your skills grow as you kept composing. EDIT: I am happy that all (Infernum) post Yharon bosses got their own Infernum boss themes
to be fair, even though I enjoy dokuro stuff quite a lot, it is quite refreshing to see an artist in a calamity/addon doing stuff more creative and not straight forward just remixing dokuro stuff Props to you for giving us truly a "yours" version of the bosses themes.
the bgm is good all throughout but the lyrics are hit or miss for me, like at 2:13 its really good but then you have parts at 3:50 where the vocals are off-key and dont really match the bgm i think just a simple redo where the vocals are fixed on most parts could definitely make this song a whole lot better
Ever since Dokuro stopped making music for Calamity I didn't think there would be nearly as great of an OST but yet here you are with just as geat if masterpiece, lovely
I appreciate how just like in mgrr, in which the lyrics resemble when the enemy finally is giving it their all, the lyrics start immediately in this fight, showing how Calamitas is already locked in
The embers of Infernum blazes a vigorous inferno of unmatched magnitude The ashes of battle permeate the skies, blanketing the horizon The world of Calamity seethes with violent fervor This is it. Should this be your final hour, or shall fate spare you another day?
This, to me feels like a secret boss type theme, ya know. It’s like the regular Calamitas’ theme is more foreboding and epic/legendary sounding, while this one feels more exciting and harmonic!
I have to say. Your musical abilities have grown a hell of a lot since you started. There is a drastic difference between this and your original acid rain theme. Well done, PinpinNeon.
Gonna be honest, never expected the final theme to be for Cal, but this is an amazing final track to finally close of the amazing expansion that has been Infernum. Thank you Pinpin; and thank you to the entire Infernum team for bringing us the absolute best thing to come out of Calamity. I look forward to see what you all bring in future endeavors

Phenomenal interpretation of a final boss theme. I was blown away to hear it in game for the first time. Thank you for creating a complete collection of amazing Calamity music
I beat Infernum for the first time a couple days ago now. This theme really fits the Infernum version of Calamitas as does the rest of the Infernum exclusive OSTs to their fights. Great job.
Thanks for making some of the coolest music I've ever heard. I'm glad you get to move on from the awful nature of this community. This just tells the tale of you, Charlie and Dokuro, and very passionately at that. I apologize on behalf of much of this community for toxicity and ungratefulness. Thank you, PinPin
I love that songs, its fits lore of infernum and calamitas but i have 1 big minus.. I dont hear calamity bells, which kinda symbolize important bosses in calamity
I can tell you poured all your heart into making this theme just like Sky After Rain. I feel really bad that you along with the other composers had to be put up with such a community despite giving it your absolute best. I can tell that the lyrics are a reflection of your feelings towards the community, I'm really sorry that you had to go through all this.. I will say, it's not really my favorite theme when it comes to a boss like SCal, as it somehow feels more like a theme about yourself. I've tried it in-game with Infernum and without Infernum, so I do believe there should be a toggle within the Infernum music config for those who prefer one over the other. I hope you enjoy your time moving on~ good luck Pinpin! 💜
Gonna play this during boss rush tier 5 because Stained Brutal Calamity my beloved but GODDAMN... I certainly wasn't expecting this, plus i was wondering if you'd play on the voice in your head thing but wow, this goes hard
I was legit fighting scal with the normal theme yesterday and when I fought her again today I got so confused why the theme was different, good theme tho both go hard
This was truly an experience to behold. Good job, and I’m sure you will find a new path to behold. Soon. The fire of calamity engulfed the lands… but perhaps, one day, the void will beckon for the life it once was.
Some say that with this song the flame of Infernum went out. The era has ended, no doubt, but the fire will burn forever, because the very coals on which it is lit will not let it go out.
The part at 2:15 and the guitar solo afterwards is one of the best moments I have heard in a modded soundtrack to any game, Terraria or otherwise. It seems from your video descriptions and also from someone else's video that a significant portion of the Terraria modding community was incredibly unfriendly towards you (to put it way too lightly) so I just want to tell you that you are one of the best and coolest people in that community and I hope you are recovering or doing better now.
Is there any way to play stained brutal calamity without removing the other songs? The song is not bad but listening to Stained Brutal Calamity while fighting Calamitas is incredible
You know seeing like storm before dawn and this song, i would really love to see the World that you made all this stuff in, almost making it kinda like a adventure type of thing in a way, seeing all the structures from Calamitas, i know we have the place where the gaurdians and prov is at but imagine having a whole adventure map of the creations you made for boss arena's and maybe like some extra things to make it look cooler
I have tried Infernum before. But there was no success in completioning it because DoG was too hard for me (I just didn't know about dash bind). And then I heard that this mod has come to an end, releasing its final update and Dominic announcing something called "Eye The world beyond". I gave it another try. And it was successful. When I was before my main challenge - DoG - there was this - a theme for my favorite boss. She is a beautiful boss, which was once the main face of the Calamity mod. After plenty of nerfs and changes, she is not so powerful in normal Calamity anymore. But Infernum made her great again. This mod is wonderful. Music, visual effects, AI changes, new boss, and world design. This is all so cool. Thank you, Dominic, Walid, and your team. Thank you for your hard work in this project. I hope this mod will be remembered for a long time. It was a hard but great journey. Filled with great music and bosses, which once i was afraid of when heard about the normal Calamity being difficult. Thank you for igniting the Infernal flames of Calamity in our hearts
New drum and cymbal sfx pleaase 😭 I genuinely couldnt concentrate on the fight this felt more like something trying to distract me from the fight rather than immerse me in it
I finally reach her in my own playthtough and THIS IS SOO GOODD!!! I can say that all the 100+ hours I suffered in this playthtough is all worthed thx to this didn't expect at all I would fall in love woth this song
I discovered this after listening to Catastrophic and Zenith Fabrications. All I've got to say is... Ehh? Each phase sounds really great on its own but trying to merge them together as one single Calamitas medley... Holy hell the sheer whiplash with each transition! What IS this? Don't get me wrong each section sounds great but... Why would you try and mix them at all-
As much as i love this mod, and i wouldnt bash on a creator or his/her songs but i dont think it fits all too well and i dont really like the pacing of the song either, its way too chaotic and the tone of it is very hard to follow it, goes back and forth constantly like a violent game of tug o war, it doesnt mean its bad i just wish i could switch to stained brutal calamity instead
1: It's supposed to be chaotic compared to stained brutal calamity, as the Infernum fight is much more high paced. This also representing Calamitas's lack of sanity. 2: You can toggle it.
Woah. Talk about one heck of a send-off. The one problem I have with this is that the editor used a very hard to read font for the fainter lyrics. But otherwise, just... WOAH. Edit: just listened to this again for... probably the tenth time, and I'm still tearing up on that last chorus.
Let the Infernal flame burns the brightest
Let the games begin
And experience the absolute meaning of true death!

Godspeed my lonely angel.
i agree. its awesome but it doesn't felt scal. plus it doesn't have calamity bells. would fit brimestone elemental, or CAL clone
Agreed
I miss dokuro and ennway
still after so much time has passed from the release of this, it still makes me cry
someone who UNDERSTANDS
The original Stained, Brutal Calamity Motif in this S&M part is truly amazing, it gave me chills the first time i heard it, and i dont lie when i say i've been hearing this for few hours just because how this is, the lyrics are amazing and the voices are amazing as well. Good job to all the people who made this masterpiece of a song!
I came expecting something new, but goddamn are the vocals, motifs, and overall music good! It's been a pleasure to find your music, and I can't wait to see what you do next!
Back about half a year ago, the end of last summer
I think this song may have saved me from abandoning myself
Thank you for making this song and sharing it with me, PinpinNeon
this weirdly feels very familiar to "Stained Brutal Calamity", but at the same time like something completely different
I am. So mad at myself for not finding this earlier, same for your channel!
I had no clue you composed some of my favorite tracks. Great work!
(Also, hearing some of the motifs from Stained Brutal Calamity was so cool!!)
Keep on keeping on!!
Everyone here about the song itself, im here for the meaning. I feel ya. These people never felt the hatred, yet they spray it on every composer of this community.
They’re their own enemy for sure.
Lyrics:
For in their heart remains their guiding light
HAVE YOU ALL KNOWN WHAT IT'S LIKE TO FEEL HATRED?
TO REALIZE THAT THERE'S ROOM FOR IT IN YOUR HEART?
LONG AGO I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD FEEL IT
BUT IT SEEMS THAT I WAS JUST TOO NAIVE TO SEE THE TRUTH
See these scars that hide memories
(Those scars that hide memories)
(of the times)
Before I tried to live with myself?
(I could not live with myself)
They were born of pain from my heart,
(If they're born of pain from my heart,)
which had become blackened and broken
(is it blackened and broken?)
Chorus:
Hear my last hopes
Engrave them for all to see
The shattered wings that still dream
of taking flight
My soul will burn
(My soul will burn)
By the flames of calamity
(By the flames of the world
that scarred my heart)
Despite these trials of fire
In the end I still see the light
WHAT IF THE LIGHT
THAT YOU SEE NOW
IS JUST A FAKE-
AN ILLUSION?
WHAT YOU'RE DOING
IS DELUDING
YOURSELF INTO
SEEING FALSE HOPES!
YOU REALLY THINK
THAT WHAT YOU'VE DONE
WILL BE ENOUGH
FOR THOSE VOICES!?
THEN LET THE ONE
INSIDE YOUR HEAD
CONTINUE TO
MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL!
Final chorus:
Here we are again back in the void
Where my heart lays dead
And my mind's driven insane
The pale imitation of myself
Trying to reach for the stars
But if in the end there's no one that
Can hear the sounds
Of my soul writhing in pain
Then let the storm before dawn become
As dark as my own scars
(Here we are again back in the void
Where my heart lays dead
And my mind's driven insane
The pale imitation of myself
Trying to reach for the stars)
But if in the end there's no one that
Can hear the screams
Of my soul howling in vain
Then let the sky after rain become
As dark as my own scars
Why dude?

Absolutely *cool* certified
I really liked how this song took the motif of the base calamity mod, as well as taking the motifs of both storm before dawn and sky after rain and adding a darker vibe to make it fitting towards the boss itself. I only saw this channel not long ago and all of the songs hit deep (even considering my narrow taste in music). This is one of my favorites from here (as well as storm before dawn, sky after rain, and guiding light). I hope whatever you do after this will be as good for you as your songs have been for me.
so thats what it sounds like after the first 20 seconds
I still like Dokuro's better
I agree, but I think the music of infernum has a different theme than regular calamity, and I think this one fits better with infernum. Because the Calamity songs felt like it was from the perspective of the boss, but infernum songs feel like its from the perspective of the player.@@kingston5469

A great wrap up to a great soundtrack. I am looking forward to any of your future products. It was nice seeing your skills grow as you kept composing.
EDIT: I am happy that all (Infernum) post Yharon bosses got their own Infernum boss themes
Their voices are so good! But please release an instrumental version!
this music is so good i've heard hundreds of times
too bad its usually just the start
Not really tops Stained Brutal Calamity BUT maybe or actually hits her lore fittingly.
to be fair, even though I enjoy dokuro stuff quite a lot, it is quite refreshing to see an artist in a calamity/addon doing stuff more creative and not straight forward just remixing dokuro stuff
Props to you for giving us truly a "yours" version of the bosses themes.
the bgm is good all throughout but the lyrics are hit or miss for me, like at 2:13 its really good but then you have parts at 3:50 where the vocals are off-key and dont really match the bgm
i think just a simple redo where the vocals are fixed on most parts could definitely make this song a whole lot better
Ever since Dokuro stopped making music for Calamity I didn't think there would be nearly as great of an OST but yet here you are with just as geat if masterpiece, lovely
It is and he made a reference to Dm Dokuro
going into this I was thinking "no way can this match stained brutal calamity", but this comes surprisingly close, nice work
okay lets not get too ahead of ourselves here
It's good, but not that good.
It ain't *THAT* good bro
can ya'll respect other's tastes in music? you guys' opinions will never be objective.
I appreciate how just like in mgrr, in which the lyrics resemble when the enemy finally is giving it their all, the lyrics start immediately in this fight, showing how Calamitas is already locked in
Are we not going to talk about 3:52 being the most wonderful part of any infernum mode theme?
Argee
2:01 stained , brutal calamity joined the chat
Oh god, the intro was INSANE! I'll hope you will do inside look of this masterpiece, similar to the catastrophic fabrications

I preffer brutal stained calamity but this theme is good too
The embers of Infernum blazes a vigorous inferno of unmatched magnitude
The ashes of battle permeate the skies, blanketing the horizon
The world of Calamity seethes with violent fervor
This is it. Should this be your final hour, or shall fate spare you another day?
This, to me feels like a secret boss type theme, ya know. It’s like the regular Calamitas’ theme is more foreboding and epic/legendary sounding, while this one feels more exciting and harmonic!
It would fit THIS one well: ua-cam.com/video/5LZrWRSwDHQ/v-deo.htmlsi=oZDqpIyxBP01Exnr
The moment from "Hear my last hopes..." sounds like buffed Epiphany from SBC 💀💀💀
This is like a chef's kiss to the music the vocals I love
I have to say. Your musical abilities have grown a hell of a lot since you started. There is a drastic difference between this and your original acid rain theme. Well done, PinpinNeon.
this song is so good man
thank you for blessing infernum with unique music instead of hearing the default scal theme!

Gahdayum, petition for the 2:13 part to start playing against SWCal when she is at low health kinda like Proof Of A Hero against Monster Hunter final bosses
Great job.
I love getting a congratulations before it crashes my game.
Calamitas is nameless deity CONFIRMED?!?!?!?!
since you released it, the hardest part of fighting scal is deciding which boss theme should i listen to, yours or dm dokuro, both are godlike ngl
The hatred towards this theme... the Dokuro case... all these wounds inflicted by the community are truly... *THE SCARS OF CALAMITY*
Thanks for making some of the coolest music I've ever heard. I'm glad you get to move on from the awful nature of this community. This just tells the tale of you, Charlie and Dokuro, and very passionately at that. I apologize on behalf of much of this community for toxicity and ungratefulness. Thank you, PinPin
you know a song is GOOD when you get literal goosebumps and chills from it...
It's just tremendous as it seems with someone full of potential to make it such as you
I love that songs, its fits lore of infernum and calamitas but i have 1 big minus.. I dont hear calamity bells, which kinda symbolize important bosses in calamity
Apart from Argus I don’t think infernum has any other lore things
why is this theme so hated I think people really need to realize what the lyrics really mean and how the music sounds throughout each phase
i just think stained brutal calamity is better and replacing it is unnecessary
This theme is hated because its the calamity community. They love making baseless remarks with no coherence
why is no one talking about the fact that "for in their heart remains their guiding light" it's the cameo from sky after rain's ending
Pinpinneon amd DmDokoru need a page in the history book.

I will hear this song very soon. I am already on dredon...

The song: 😁🔥😍🌈
The lyrics: 😰🔥😱🖤
The part at 2:15 and the guitar solo afterwards is one of the best moments I have heard in a modded soundtrack to any game, Terraria or otherwise. It seems from your video descriptions and also from someone else's video that a significant portion of the Terraria modding community was incredibly unfriendly towards you (to put it way too lightly) so I just want to tell you that you are one of the best and coolest people in that community and I hope you are recovering or doing better now.
I like the solo, but I personally like the guitar solo from Roar of the Jungle Dragon better.
That arena is fucking awesome looking
Is there any way to play stained brutal calamity without removing the other songs? The song is not bad but listening to Stained Brutal Calamity while fighting Calamitas is incredible
this is an alt theme
7 months late but you can disable this song in the infernum music mod config (assuming you have calamity music enabled)
Syncing up the climax of this and Raw, Unfiltered Calamity hits so hard
this song hits harder than my father
Real
your father must be weak as hell
this song slaps harder than california rental costs, just like stained, brutal calamity
The first minute and 50 seconds sounds like an anime opening.
(I love it)
You know seeing like storm before dawn and this song, i would really love to see the World that you made all this stuff in, almost making it kinda like a adventure type of thing in a way, seeing all the structures from Calamitas, i know we have the place where the gaurdians and prov is at but imagine having a whole adventure map of the creations you made for boss arena's and maybe like some extra things to make it look cooler
Thank you for igniting the Infernal flames of Calamity in our hearts
put this on spotify please this is so good
The epiphany part hits different
Ngl
Great song, but I must admit that some of the vocals are hard to understand
New drum and cymbal sfx pleaase 😭 I genuinely couldnt concentrate on the fight this felt more like something trying to distract me from the fight rather than immerse me in it
get some better snare drum-crash cymbal sounds because that would automaticly make this sound 2 times better.
i regret nothing about this being the theme for calamitas
sounds good and gives a bit of insight without having to read the wiki!!!
I finally reach her in my own playthtough and THIS IS SOO GOODD!!! I can say that all the 100+ hours I suffered in this playthtough is all worthed thx to this didn't expect at all I would fall in love woth this song
Glad you’re happy!
Why would you try and mix them at all-
this song is a banger
go to hell
As much as i love this mod, and i wouldnt bash on a creator or his/her songs but i dont think it fits all too well and i dont really like the pacing of the song either, its way too chaotic and the tone of it is very hard to follow it, goes back and forth constantly like a violent game of tug o war, it doesnt mean its bad i just wish i could switch to stained brutal calamity instead
1: It's supposed to be chaotic compared to stained brutal calamity, as the Infernum fight is much more high paced. This also representing Calamitas's lack of sanity.
2: You can toggle it.

The song is incredible to say the least, but the arena is beyond a masterpiece. How long did all this take to do?
pinpin didn’t build this from my knowledge instead its the arena from the calamity infernum trailer
It was made by Myra iirc who made the trailer and edited this video
Woah. Talk about one heck of a send-off. The one problem I have with this is that the editor used a very hard to read font for the fainter lyrics.
But otherwise, just... WOAH.
Edit: just listened to this again for... probably the tenth time, and I'm still tearing up on that last chorus.
