Hope you find my video useful. If so please consider supporting my endeavours by checking out my store. I have a small selection of hand made hard laid cord for sale. Traditional hard laid cord is the perfect cord for this style of decorative knotting. If you've not used it, it will change your knotting forever. bloodknot.bigcartel.com/
Great idea and execution. Ive been knotting for years and never thought to go over more than one strand at a time. In wire splicing you often do over one under two.
Thanks Roman, After this one I did an over 3 under 1 pattern followed by an under 3 under 1 wall. I didn't do a video as I didn't know if it was going to work or not. turned out well though. I used it as a finishing globe with the tags cut off and pushed back inside with a dab of glue.
A good knot .I noticed that you had one strand for a core and wondered if that was really needed as it looks like it could have been tied with all of the strands
@@plemas oh gosh hi! How funny, I mentioned to the kids today about how you make knot videos (I was trying to help them distinguish between useful UA-cam videos, and otherwise..), so it seems they looked you up!

Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. Have attempted Over-Two Crowning before, but I usually stopped at the "I'm confused" moment.
Dan Kolar I’ve been to that moment many times. You’ll get it with a little patience. Single strand star knots are my current nightmare.

You are right. It can be tied with any number. In this case I was making a cat of nine tails so I had to lose a strand.
Where can I get 1 of those tools you are using? I love your videos. They're very informative and easy to follow. I especially love the ⏸️ button 😂
Glad you like them! The tool is made by Mikko Snellman
