I have a sportsman 214Tournment and it looks identical to your boat. I’m leaning to the terrova 60 inch and 80lbs thrust. I heard from several people that the motor itself only has to be 12 “ below water line. But you make a good point about weight in the back of boat. I have two live wells in rear. Thanks for the insight.

Did you consider an Ulterra? If so, why did you instead go with the Terrova? Thanks in advance.
I did but I talked to some captains and friends that have the ulterra and they have had some aggravation and issues with all the moving parts. So far I can't say enough good things about my terrova. Ulterra is cool but I don't need one at this time... plus the beating these motors take on a trailer and crossing rough waters... Less is more

@@moblack5883 I fish in river and a big lake that can be busy at times with wakes. The 54in works well for me
