Lol yea man your right, it is rocking with the waves. Gotta love it. I find it really helps to stir up the water and debris and allow for sump and skimmer to do its job and remove what is not needed.
Hi Leopazzo, you have a beautiful tank, but if I can make 1 suggestion or request, it is that you show more of the setup. It is clear you know exactly the steps to set up a beautiful coral reef and I would love to learn. I came to this video because I wanted to learn how to setup the 2 Jerboa's I have and at the end, you just mentioned to read the instructions to learn to use it. I would find it MUCH more helpful to actually show us what you did. There is no denying that you can build a great reef and I would love to copy some of those techniques. Thanks for your videos.
Hey Ryan thank you very much for the honest feedback. My main purpose is to help others in the hobby. What do you suggest now? I make another complete video showing the wave makers and showing how I connect it and try all the difference settings that come with controller etc. What specifically would you like to see more of or know more about? My all means I will make another video addressing the missing info or just in general make a even better review video. Thanks again in advanced
Yes your right that can be done by turning the wave maker side ways but you will have the wire from the Wave maker coming from the side and not from the top. The original design can allow you to move it freely in any direction. I'm going to mess around with it a bit more and see what other positions I can come up with! Thanks man, much appreciated!
Yes your right can can just move the wave maker and magnet to the position I want but I will have the wire coming from the side as well. Instead the original model allows you to move it in any direction with the connection wire always from the top.
Hey bro The rw 15 models are the newer models. So I would go with those newer ones. Like in the video. The wp60 is also very good but much more powerful. So it depends what size tank you have and how much flow you want. I prefer 2 wavemakers over just 1 bigger one. So maybe 2 rw15. What's size is your tank? Cheers
LEOPAZZO TV have you notice a drop in perforamce since you had it? i seen alot of people mention after the 6month period it starts to lose power for some reason
Sese Cabo yes 2 would be best. And will be a lot of flow. But with one will also be ok but I think having flow from both directions is best. This can also be accomplished with 2 rw15 and the return line from the sump pump on the opposite end of the Wavemaker. This option will still give from both directions as well. All in all, just get the 2 and if 2 is good enough you will have another one on stand by. As they may only last for 1-2 years the you may need to replace the Wavemaker motor section, but the controller and ac adaptor is usually still good to use. From my experience. All the best
Hello my friend here with another question as I have asked you before about the RW15 I was wondering what about the Jebao/Jecod wifi cross flow pump CP-40? Is this better than the RW15 or what is better to get? Thank you for all your great videos!
MAPAHaus5 no the water does not go over the tank. Or there would be a problem. I wouldn't let that happen and that wouldn't be a nice feature. It's all about positioning the Wavemaker and the angle of the Wavemaker will all determine the overall wave. Positioning it correctly according to your tank aquascape is best.
Leo you have a very nice tank. but have you ever had any problem with your anemone stinging your other coral ? I would like to get an anemone but I'm very much so concern about the anemone start walking in the tank one day and just stinging and killing everything in its path.
The anemones yes Do sting my other corals but they have not moved in over 2 years. So the only corals mine kill or sting will be any corals with grows in its way. So I just frag the other coral when it gets close. I would place the anem first in tank then add other corals once the anem has found its spot. Then from there only place corals no closer than 6-8 to the anem. So this way when it's open and gets bigger it will have less of a chance to sting the other corals close to it! Good luck keep us posted
I've got just one of these on a 75 gallon tank (4' L, 2'h, 1.5'w). Too powerful. Disturbs the sand bed even on lowest power setting. Might just get 2x rw-4 instead.
After cleaning the Rw15 and putting it back together it seems to have developed a intermitent fault could have been cutting out before and just didn't notice. Has anyone else experienced their RW 15 cutting out and not restarting. Have tried the obvious such as connections, turning pump above 65% etc but problem still persists. Suggestions guys?
yes, i use the 'feed' mode when i feed my fish. now it wont come back on. just come on here to find out if anyone else had the same problem. i took out the shaft but it's not that dirty. mind you only 8 months old. can you tell me if you got yours to start again? i did see somewhere that if you run it on the wave/ pulse motion it can shorten the life of these wavemakers. what were you running it on by the way?
I know what you mean by turning the pump. But I wanted to make a point and point out that it is built differently than the previous models wp40 as the pump can move around within the bracket. This model the pump and bracket has to be turned together
Great video tank looks great happy reefing
Thanks buddy! Glad you enjoyed. Much appreciated for the feedback. Stay tuned for more videos!
You tank is rocking the with waves. Looking great man!

Leo Pazzo Youre right, I do the same for an hour or two. Keep on doing videos man!
Thanks Mang

Always love this tank bro. Like.
Respect bro much appreciated
I think you can turn it round by mounting it at a different angle on the magnet?
Yes your right that can be done by turning the wave maker side ways but you will have the wire from the Wave maker coming from the side and not from the top. The original design can allow you to move it freely in any direction. I'm going to mess around with it a bit more and see what other positions I can come up with! Thanks man, much appreciated!
If you want to get the pumps to move left and right, rotate the powerhead. Anyways, nice tank, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feed back tho, much appreciated
You can rotate around the base it's not fixed it's just a magnet you will get exactly same rotation like before
Great thnx I see what your saying. Yes I tried this and it works
Check out this video on UA-cam:
Jebao RW-15 wave maker review and set up for my 125 gallon reef tank
Hi, where can I get the aquarium pump battery backup you have?? I looked for it at amazon but didn't find it... Where can I look for it??
eBay has it its call jebao battery back up
are you still using this pump or do you perfer the wp version? im lookin at getting the wp60 but not too sure since seeing this version

Rico Suave yes after some time use the pump will slowly lose power in flow performance
I have a 150 gal tank 5' long and i was wondering if just one rw15 would be enough or 2 of them, or one rw20? What would it be the best?
Sese Cabo yes 2 would be best. And will be a lot of flow. But with one will also be ok but I think having flow from both directions is best. This can also be accomplished with 2 rw15 and the return line from the sump pump on the opposite end of the Wavemaker. This option will still give from both directions as well. With the wave actions of the water, does the water go over the tank and onto the floor?
all the time ain't it great?

It’s all about the angle you position them .
Put them towards the middle for the height. And angle them upwards towards to surface of the water.
Subbed up. Nice review
Awesome thanks for the sub. Are you local in GTA?
GTA? Local as in?
MASS Aquariums GTA means greater Toronto area
Toronto canada
Thought maybe you were located in the same area as me. Thanks
Nope Massachusetts
Why does a PP-15 wavemaker run out of water but NOT in the water......stops running as soon as it hits the tank
Im guessing it is an electrical short with the pump, i would take apart the impeller and clean it, water and white vinegar.
Right and left is possible by turning the propeller 90 degrees. LOL
good eye yes your right
would 2 of these be to much for a 55 gallon
Jared August 2 for 55 is prob to much. 1 is strong enough.
Ok thanks
You can spin the pump 360° lol. You can point this pump in any direction.
the dreaded GSP
What do you mean Alex?

cool, but seriously a 1 minute intro with cranked audio? Great video... but dial back the cheesy intro from the 90s please!
Can’t please everyone thanks for watching and feedback cheers
you know you just can turn the pump with the magnet...

better in my opinion :)
can't move left and right that is suck the old one is better
