Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One is produced and directed by by Kerry Shawcross (RWBY franchise) and written by screenwriter Meghan Fitzmartin (Supernatural, Justice Society: World War II). Producers are Ethan Spaulding (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge), Jim Krieg (Batman: Gotham by Gaslight) and Kimberly S. Moreau (Legion of Super-Heroes). A bit ironic considering that their world have at least a dozen completely different sources of surnatural powers.
Dust is like coal, stores energy, it has an elemental aspect to it. it can power things, be used as ammo, A modifier for semblances ect..... pretty sure anyone can use it.
A Semblace in someones inate born ability, it's an extension of ones aura (which is also aprt of their soul), it needs training and although everyone has one, it is something that needs to be unlocked byt the individual.
they typically aren't inherited ( the exception being the schnee family)
IE. Blakes semblance is shadow clones, she uses dust to modify them, for exsample, she can imbue one with fire dust to make it explode on contact.
think of dust like a mana potion that gives the user an elemental buff.
Let's be honest, when Nora gets up, there's a chance she's gonna be happy.

I mean his power is easy and the reason both Vixen and Lantern are having problems is their powers came from external sources, the Ring and Necklace, thus now they are in a world without that stuff so they basically have to relearn their powers.

Well, the Speed Force is external, so even if his Semblance is just "Can access the Speed Force" than his powers should work just fine.

Let's not forget about the superior visuals, the animation software they've been using since Volume 4.
I hate how my older brother compares the visuals from V4-Present to PS2 Graphics, and he doesn't care about RWBY all because the protagonists are women, V1-V3 is understandable to compare but Modern RWBY visuals don't look that bad. Animation style with their Fight scenes are a different story though.
V4-Present fight scenes aren't bad but they aren't the same after V3 and that one fight scene in V5 in Blake's parents house with those Cloaked White Fang Monk Twins.
The plot is also a different subject, but let's stop there.
Goodwitch's new VA will take some getting use to.

So, that's how the heroes are brought down to a more tolerable level. Their powers aren't just there anymore but are now semblances and rely on dust like everything else.

It's kind of fun seeing how the Ruby gang and Justice League as teenagers go out each other.
Yeah, the League are better fighters over all but they have no clue how this all works and have to basically figure it out on the fly

@@hyperdreamer9483 yeah good point. But that was when they were all adults in their world and had access to the powers. They're teenagers in the Ruby world and most of them can't even use their powers (at the moment.)
@@adrianarballo179 That may be true, but considering here they’re a match for this world’s characters who regularly take on grim I think they’ll be okay. The Grim are pretty much just super strong animals and even Jaune in the early volumes could take down an Ursa in one blow, though he did have a little help from Pyrrha to land that blow but still.

Salem could be a problem for Superman because, aside from Kryptonite, he's vulnerable to magic.
Then again, they did hint that Magic and Semblances share a connected origin. Semblances are just "parlor tricks" compared to real magic.
@@kidprime6863 he isn’t vulnerable to magic, he just has no special defense against it. Even then Salem’s way below what Clark fights/has fought over the course of his life (Black Adam, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman).

Compared to her fight with Ozma, She could hurt RWBY verse Superman but is far from anything Real Superman can't handle.

At first I was like “Why is Vixen here? I don’t have any problems with her or anything, but with all these more popular Justice League members (Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Superman, etc), including her seems kind of random.”
Then I thought about it more… actually, I think Vixen might actually fit in better than most other DC heroes. Idk why, but she feels like she fits in on Remnant more than the others.

When a lantern can't use their power...
It’s confusing sometimes when they’re in another dimension they’re powers get cut off because that dimension doesn’t have Oa but yet they keep their costumes and sometimes they’re powers do work but there’s no Oa to go to and recharge and if they left their lantern in the main dimension then their ring is on borrowed time in the current dimension they are in
Vixen gaining a fox tail is actually funny and clever
With a RWBY and Young Justice crossover, would be great to see a Superboy vs Yang Xiao Long duel, it can be a sparring match at first, but then it gets messier the minute the two turn it into a real fist fight, chaotic enough that might destroy the hallways, or the courtyard.

You know what, I didn’t think I wanted totally spies and Martin mystery to get a cross over and I ended up loving that so who knows maybe this shit is actually fire
Considering they’re using a c-lister like Vixen I’m surprised they didn’t bring in the likes of Jay Garrick to fill in for Barry, because Jay is significantly slower when not connected to the Speedforce, they wouldn’t have to come up with some weird contrivance as to why he can’t use his full power.
So...dumb question; which green lantern is that? I know there are numerous and tbh I thought that this "Jessica" green lantern at first glance in the trailer was a version of Hal Jordan. Or maybe WB and Rooster Teeth decided to come up with a new green lantern for this movie?

I'm happy that others are questioning the complete absence of Pyrrha Nikos, because A) this is in Beacon, a time when she absolutely would have been there, B) they recast Glynda Goodwitch and are actively using that character, so recasting Pyrrha (if needed) wouldn't have been an issue, C) they have Jen Brown, Pyrrha's VA, on call for stuff, so they don't actually need to recast her, and D) the comic that this is loosely based off of DID include Pyrrha.
In short: we have Pyrrha erasure with no reason why.
Ah, who am I kidding here, even if they DO use her, they'll probably just kill her off for shock value again, because they KNOW you'll all eat that schlock up.
They’re probably using her for V9, since I think she’s gonna play a important role in the finale.

@@2097Pyros it makes sense plot wise. Pyrrha means a lot to Jaune, and since penny was back (the movie happens during V7 I think) penny wouldn’t have worked. I just wish evil Pyrrha lasted longer. Ir would’ve been interesting watching Team JNR fight her, and ruby using her eyes AGAINST Pyrrha would’ve been a good contrast to her death at beacon. Spices things up more.
@@2097Pyros they used her in the Finale, although only to taunt Jaune. Makes sense since it was Neo behind it, and as shown in V9 Chp8, Neo is the type to taunt people with the dead.
I read the comic and loved it.
Now I'm excited to see how it'll play out in movie form and see what deviations and directions it'll take.

This Movie just takes place on it's own Universe and Timeline
It takes place in its own timeline cuz Yang is wearing her Volume 1-3 outfit but has her robotic arm even though in the original comics Yang still had both of her arms.

Seems like whatever brought the JL to Remnant also caused the events in the RWBY timeline to jumble up. There's another clip where Blake starts to get confused by this.

She is voice by Tiana Camacho who is on the English Dub of RWBY Ice Queendom, So yeah.

I hope we get Ironwood and the Ace Ops in this crossover. It would be great to see Flash and Harriet meet, since they are both speeders. And for Ironwood to meet Cyborg, since they are both part robot/ Cyborgs. As well as having Batman and Ironwood meet would be cool. (And perhaps Ironwood and greenlantern, because of their will power. )
And I want to see Pyrrha meet Wonder Woman. I also hope Penny is in this.
