Nice habitat build. I really like the back stage detail. Your custom fence is really nice. I’ll be taking some inspiration from these for sure. You have a really nice quality to your builds and I appreciate the realism. I really like bison as well so this build was just great. For Pronghorn, I love them! We had them in Colorado where I grew up. They are the fastest living land animals in the western hemisphere, and by some records even faster than cheetahs. They are also the only animals who shed their horns yearly because their horns aren’t quite horns and aren’t quite antlers. They are also the only animals of their family, there is nothing closely related to them that is still extant. The closest being giraffids. My favorite animal is the Giraffe so maybe that’s why I like them so much. Like the bison they almost went extinct due to over hunting but they have bounced back really well, and now only some of the more isolated sub species are still threatened. Thanks for sharing some education I’ve always liked planet zoo for the way it entertains and educates

Wow, that's fascinating! I definitely have a new appreciation for pronghorns. Thanks for your educational comment! ❤️

Apparently the reason pronghorn are so fast is because I long time ago the was like an American cheetah or something and after they died they just kept the speed.

And a doubling in 5 months 🤯 Well deserved, too! You have such a calm, pleasant voice and vibe - and your builds are beautiful. I’ve been making weird, chaotic pz videos for over a year now and I’m still below 500 subs 😆

That is such a great fence. I love the simplicity - and the piece count! For retaining walls like that, I like using mulch on the “up” side - or the flat, recolorable flower patches flipped upside down. Edit: let’s make that plural: Those are some great fences!

Ooh good point about the mulch on top, I'll have to try it next time I'm making retaining walls!

The amount of detail in your builds, wow! You are slowly starting to be one of my favourite PZ youtubers. Keep up the amazing work ❤

Amazing work like always, Sparrow! I look forward to your uploads. Thank you for all your hard work! I also love the HDM books. If you ever do a Racoon habitat you should name them Pan, Marisa and Asriel :)

I love how this habitat turned out! The birch trees definitely give it an Elk Island sort of vibe to it. I don't think I've ever seen any pronghorn north of Calgary, though they seem to be more common in Saskatchewan ime. All that to say I've never seen both animals together like this (modern bison range is so restricted in AB), so it's nice to see them both in one place like their historic ranges. :)

As someone from Alberta, I immediately knew you were talking about Elk Island. Fun Fact about that, actually. I had a friend when I was younger whose dad actually ran Elk Island for a bit. They had a nice little house in the park that I would go visit sometimes. And, yeah, bison are huge, especially the males, yet I find them to be such beautiful creatures. You really don't see many other animals like them, even in their little branch of hooved mammals.

That's so cool! I love hanging out in Elk Island any time of year. Great place to watch meteor showers from when we get them.

At this point I honestly dont believe there are fast builders in PZ. Its only possible to be fast if you dont build with a lot of details I guess. The building system is so detailed that it takes AGES. I take a lot of time and I only do 30% of what you do in your builds 😂 Love the video as always!!! Looking forward to the next ones ❤

That's probably true, but the amount I have to cut out of videos even after speeding them up is incredible!

I really love the addition of the history alongside the beautiful builds! I’m really inspired to get back into the game!
Also wanted to add to the history - Americans also killed bison in the dozens to hurt the Indigenous people who they were warring against (around the time of the civil war).

I really wish there was a grid tool for custom pieces like the barriers and details. Its SO ANNOYING and I have no patience to create my own grid so I can follow it 😢
