Nice tip I would add is pressing the up arrow key a few times to raise the camera, I feel like it makes a big, positive difference when grinding Rhinos (and Rhinos only). Makes it easier to pull bigger, too.

only found a few small things, but its a good guide for anyone just starting off!
5:57, its not rng as its simply multiplied by your mastery. if you are at 2000 mastery you will always get 4x procs of everything, including the skill token.
the crit modiers is 200% without the buffs, but they are multiplicative with back attacks, so they come out to be 3.5-4x the dmg of a normal attack depending on your buffs if you crit on a back attack vs a none crit none back attack
12:32, you only ever get a bullet back with rolling when you are at 0 bullets. so there is no point to roll after reloading to "cancel" it and still get the 4th bullet, thats just the ui lagging behind.

Hey man, this is one of the best up to date hunting guides out there. One question, after completing the hunting questline, I can now slide and shoot, but I don't understand the roll reload thing. I crouch, empty my gun, roll left or right or back and I don't get a bullet back. I know I must be misunderstanding what it does somehow but searching for such specific BDO information is like... nuts. I know it's an old vid, so no worries.

The UI does not always update to show the single reload, try shooting after rolling even if it says 0.

so how do we survive these rhinos? I'm professional 4 hunting with TRi loggia hunter's clothes and Artisan +10 matchlock, I htink around 930-ish Hunting Mastery, and the rhinos kill me more than any grinding mobs. like 3x an hour as I'm constantly dark-souls dodging and trying to re-load, hobbled all to crap with hte rifle, and constantly getting clipped for 1/4 of my health bar.

Mostly just with more DP from hunters cloths. Got pots running full time?worst case you might need to pull less

This is an advanced guide, Rhino do a lot of Damage if you are not well equipped.
And killing it take a while.

The enhancement level and tier of his hunting chest piece increases DP making him take less damage

You said that grass rhinos spot is king for exp...i might agree....however i tested eternal winter yak and it was pretty great, 50% leveling bar at M18 with +80% total lifeskill exp. Have you ever tried eternal winter spots?

Yes winter yak give so much exp and they're easier than rhino, but less money bcs they didn't drop something like breath of narchion

any chance this was heavily nerfed? I tested both spots with same buffs and gear, each rhino gives me almost 6% exp while yak gives 2-3% and I'm stil artisan 6

@@LKZToroh the result is correct, yak gives you approximately half exp than rhinos, however is still more than other narcion spots and it is chill spot because they just run away. plus the mats you obtain have a decent market, hard hide in particular

Nope. Just need a knife with -11 sec gathering time and 30% gathering item drop rate

What level should i stay at rhinos until? I got up to arti 1 last night and got a +10 master matchlock filled. Also have tent and a bunch of maids so distance from stuff doesn't matter.

Shoot the hunting mob rhinos not the quest mob. See the mini map icon

It's the best spot for exp indefinitely . I would recommend getting Guru 1 before going to try hunting for money

@@siwdeader6425 I made the same mistake and I was at the wrong place, the animal label needs to be WILD grass rhino's ... there are other normal grass Rhinos that cant me hunted .... go to the spot north of Narcon

Check the mini map and see if they have a hunting mob icon. There are some regular mobs there for quest purposes

I had the same problem, i was in the third area with hunting mastery 1018, all combat skills maxed (attack speed... crit ... ect) I am artesian lvl 2 and use and lvl 10 artesian matchlock yet it does no damage.

I was hunting Grass Rhino's, you need hunt WILD Grass Rhinos and it worked fine .... did 4 artisian levels in an about 40 mins of casual grind.

Shoot it from the back. It’s slow with the lower lvl matchlocks but gets quicker with artisan and master +10

I used a artisan matchlock +10 i followed your guide to the T had combat elixers destruction spirit stone and was getting back attacks but they just were not taking any damage after an hour i thought maybe its cause i dont have knowledge on them and i tried killing em for knowledge so i can see there hp and still no shit doesn’t even move lol

@@maleriusgaming734 Hey are you killing the regular rhinos or the hunting rhinos? The hunting ones have a different icon on the mini map. The regular ones have red dot. The matchlock does no damage to the regular ones
