Its simple, Stuckman was once a fun critic/reviewer till he changes his tune, people watch him for pointing out flaws of the movies he review but now he's just chill.
I zoned out on that Stuckmann video. It ranged between cringey and incoherent. Sorry, I just don't get it, or him. My tagline at Letterboxd is "Film Criticism is Dead". At least in the traditional/professional sense. It mostly died with Roger Ebert, but some of that is coincidence - not just the loss of his high profile contributions to the craft. The rise of social media, crowd sourced reviewing (Rotten Tomatoes, Letterboxd, etc.), and streaming movies that fragmented when, and how, people consumed film. Our local (published) film critic now writes about everything, from sports to politics to films....because the newspaper basically laid everyone off. Now when he does write something it's behind a paywall. But who is going to pay to read what someone thinks about Killers of the Flower Moon? It's just another opinion in a world over-run with opinions.
There are many opinions out there for sure. I used to get paid to write for a local paper 25 years ago and now all I can count on are views on my blog and my videos. Thank God I have a day job!
Chris sucks... he's the most basic most surface level "critic" out there... he's not even a critic to be honest... he just talks about the films he watches

sad to see how far Chris has fallen.
He’s become a hypocrite and a coward, but it’s a free country so he’s entitled to be

He sucks because he talks about films?
I think that is the point - he talks passionately about them even if it is not always with much nuance or as much depth.
@@zachcouch8654 because he is afraid to have opinions.
I get the feeling nobody actually watched Stuckman's video. He absolutely tore apart producers.
I agree, he tore apart big studio execs. He verbalized what was shown in Robert Altman's "The Player."
The director of Madame Web is also a producer on the film.
