Update: I don't vape propolis (or anything else) on a regular basis, as I believe fresh air is the best thing for my lungs. However, there is evidence from other sources of the anti-viral properties of propolis, so it would make sense to attack an airborne infection by means of vapourised (not incinerated) propolis. In any case, as of January 2022, I have had no vaccines and have so far no viral infection.

If we could get it turned into an oil or mixed with other essential oils without degrading the integrity, we could use it in an essential oil diffuser instead so that whole families could get the benefit at once

Many use food grade glycol to extract propolis. Glycol is the carrier used in most vape liquids. The key is getting the proper ratio.

This is awesome. Great idea. We already vaporize propolis in homes to disinfect from germs. This is more of a direct way to get more in your system where a virus would replicate. In my opinion I like this idea.

Problem is it is antibacterial properties you are looking at not antiviral. Viruses are basically dead and are unable to reproduce without a living cell to do the work. If propolis errodes the lipid coating, as hand washing does, then you may have something.

Very interesting. If heating it doesn't destroy its properties, couldn't you just put a few drops of propolis tincture, wax etc in a bowl of hot water, and inhale deeply with a towel over your head, like I usually do with tiger balm when I have a cold, or am I missing something? If nothing else then this must have given everyone a smile, it did me. Shame people can't listen to your points properly before making irrelevant objections. Take care Phil.

I would monitor your health and particularly breathing and oxygen saturation levels closely for a while.
    Pharmacies sell oxymeters quite inexpensively.
I suspect that regular chewing causes you to inhale a decent load of anti-viral component anyway.
It may have been a good idea to seek out an actual user to guide you - and one who uses that kind of device, rather than a nicotine vaping one.
Resins and waxes are far more similar to oils than the liquids that are used to vape nicotine, and therefore closer to the substances including Vitamin E Acetate that caused the big scare in the US recently, and which the CDC belatedly (and very quietly) admitted had no connection with nicotine vaping - a method that I successfully used to quit smoking in February 2017 after 40 years. Thankfully, my chest x-rays and blood work cannot be distinguished (at least by casual glance) as those of a smoker even this soon. And I still do vape, although I've reduced the strength of nicotine I use from 18mg/ml down to 3mg/ml in that time. I can't stand the taste or smell of tobacco anymore, but know the nicotine addiction is so established in me that without vaping, I'd still relapse. Vaping satisfies the hand to mouth movement and most of the sensations of smoking while giving just enough nicotine to keep the cravings at bay.
I could tell you more than you want to know about nicotine vaping (I've even completed the training from the NHS Stop Smoking Serice as a vaping advisor), and certainly, that is enough to know that vaping of anything else really should be under medical advice or at least supervision.
Oil or fat contamination inflames the lung tissues and they produce fluid with very similar results to secondary drowning.
    Stay safe, and stay healthy.

Thank you for the video. As far as I understand this is still unclear what actually causes lung problems in case of this infection, the virus itself, or the side effects of it, so to speak. I read somewhere that people infected with the virus develop pneumonia because they have iron overload caused by the virus, and not because of the presence of the virus in the lungs. But I am not qualified to tell whether this is true or not...

It's literally not harming you. I've been terrified and stuck in my house for a year except to work so let me try natural things if it makes me feel like I'm less likely to die.
