Good morning, Walter. Ernest Tubb is one of my all time favorite singers. I remember listening to Ernest Tubb when I was a baby. Mom and Dad had the radio tuned to country music, and we listened to it a lot. They bought a small television when I was five, and then I could see Ernest Tubb sing with his band. I don't remember which show he was on when I was older, but we kids all sat around on the floor and watched with our parents. There were other singing acts on the show too - wish I could remember all of the names. I don't listen to any of the new so-called country singers either; you are right, they all sound alike. I know how you feel about your sister we all have family members that could sing their hearts out that never gets recognized my whole family is gone my mother was a great singer I have one sister out of my family left she is a good singer she sings gospel,yes rap music destroyed this country, my husband loves Carl Smith and Hank Williams and Gene Watson
