    On the first video with the tight handle pliers, you can loosen them up by using a dab of “valve grinding compound”, sold at the auto part’s store, and work it into the joint by moving the handles of the plier. A good sign of a well made plier is when you can hold one handle of the plier and the other handle automatically opens by the pull force of gravity.

      Do you know why/how the water works? I don't really understand it as I would assumed if there's rust, water would just make it worse no?

    • @billhandymanbill2775
      @billhandymanbill2775 2 роки тому +1

      @@UnvarnishedTarnished I agree with you! Yes, rust would continue. I have used white vinegar in a glass and put the pliers in there over night and it also works well too.

      @@billhandymanbill2775 Nice, thank you! I have an old rusty pair I think I'll let soak in vinegar.

      @@UnvarnishedTarnished The valve grinding compound, only a couple of dollars at the auto parts store, works great in loosing up a tight pair of pliers. High recommend it. After using the vinegar, over night or even a day, make sure to wash off the vinegar, dry the pliers and then spray the entire pliers with WD-40. I have also using a wire wheel on a bench grinder to make them look new too.

      Мне, почему-то, кажется, что их потом так заклинит, что ничего не поможет. Это мое мнение.

      испробовано, не клинит
      это самый народный и недорогой метод, главное хорошо разработать (выгнать ржавчину и мусор), промыть и хорошо высушить

    1:50 makes no sense. Why you would use different width boards? If they are equal this will never work with different angles.

    • @UWOODWORKER
      @UWOODWORKER  2 роки тому

      in the sense of??? there are situations when you need to dock boards of different widths! do not write nonsense

    • @hochmeiste
      @hochmeiste 2 роки тому

      @@UWOODWORKER Nonsense is when you do easy jobs the hard way and complicated. For example - why using paper and then transfer lines, when you can just overlap two pieces and draw directly on them.
