- 91 year old Puerto Rican Grandmother cooks authentic version of Arroz Con Pollo (Chicken and Rice)

Ingredients:
Whole chicken cut up
White rice
Bell peppers 2 Red 1 yellow chopped
5 cloves garlic chopped
2 onions chopped
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
garlic salt to taste
chicken broth flavoring cube or powder
water
1 jar pimento stuffed olives
Bijol for color optional
Out of all the Arroz Con Pollo recipes on UA-cam, I chose this one. The chef is adorable. Blessings
She is isn't she.....She reminds me of my Aunt Maria....loaded with life...my uncle met her in Texas when he was in the Air Force and she was on a visa to work....they got married and the rest is history....

Always be proud of who you are . I lived there for 3 years because my father was in the US Air Force and loved every minute. And we lived off base so we could experience the culture I was 6 when we went and 9 when we left.And was so home sick . I was ready to go back . Am still ready .and we left in 1967
This was delicious, how can anyone dislike? Id love to see them make this at 91yrs old. Recipe was easy and food was so good, I added some white wine to mine. Yum

Vanessa you can add 3 cups of rice and 4 cups of water Cover it on low to medium after 25 minutes Stir it Taste it Rice cooks about 40 minutes
